KPC/L&G, What do you like best about it?

From all the threads, what about premixes? I bought it cause there was a thread that was KickMax VS KPC, and KPC was favored.
Your input is valuable as always.

I personally like KPC part of it the most but only b/c I have to watch how much high step I do since I tend to get big leg muscles pretty quick. I haven't done any of the premixes so I'm curious to see what others have to say also on them. You can't go wrong with KPC though, I love, love, love it!

My friend, another Jennifer from here, got me into KPC and if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't bought it. KPC is great!! Still does anyone do the premixes for KPC?? KPC flows so smooth and time flies while doing it. The combos near the end is when I realized I was burnt.
My calves get huge but my thighs stay normal.

Merry Christmas.

I like to keep my workouts at 50-60 minutes. KPC's premixes give me several options to do that since the main workout runs over an hour. The intermediate intensity drills are a nice transition from the warm-up to the rest of the workout. Once you hit the high intensity drills and continue through the combo's, your heartrate is up there throughout. I didn't like Kick Max because the combo's were too pivoty (had to leave out the pivots on carpet) and not very intense. Then the blast section was off the charts, then to be followed by the leg drills which were boring to me. The whole thing seemed like bits and pieces and not well done as a continuous workout.

Legs and Glutes is great in it's own right. Lots of variety - weighted work, no weights, plyo moves, floorwork. Cathe and crew are smiling through the pain. They're having fun and so am I.

I bought a used VHS copy of just KPC (and I love it!), but am now wondering what I am missing with not having the DVD. Are the premixes good enough to warrant the cost of the DVD? Do you like Legs and Glutes? How does it compare to Butts and Guts?

I haven't done the premixes but I would say it would not be worth buying the DVD if that is the only reason, just b/c the full KPC is so good. However, depending on your fitness goals, it may be worth it to get so you'll have Legs & Glutes. I personally don't do that one too often b/c it uses the high step quite a bit and I tend to get bulky very quick on my lower half so my goal is slimming the lower half and i can only do high step workouts once in a while. I LOVE Butts & Guts, it is in my opinion a better workout than Legs & Glutes, it doesn't use the high step much and to me is much more challenging than Legs & Glutes... hope that helps!

I have to say that I absolutely love KPC/L&G!! I think it is worth buying the DVD!!

KPC is good on its own but L&G is an awesome workout!

I use the premixes a lot! I really love the premixes that combine both KPC AND L&G into one workout! That is my favorite to do.

My opinion is to get the DVD!
