Wow, Rhea, you have a Blackberry. Cool. Bettcha'll love it. My daughter was talking about the Blackberries when I saw her at her wedding. Cool.

Yeah, I can't work out when it's hot, either. It really needs to be cool for me to workout.:cool:

Okay, so let's see -- am looking at next week -- here's the plan:

Mon: IMAX2 (anaerobics)
Tues: ME (strength)
Wed: A cardio & stretch
Thurs: Cardio & Weights
Fri: Bootcamp 4DS -- cardio only
Sat: Bootcamp Intensity series
Sun: Off

Good morning,
Will take tomorrow as a rest day, due to my procedure. Today was Imax2, except for the 3rd interval which is 1 legged hops. That one irritates me so lots of times I leave it out. Tonite will be a little more wood stacking before I start the prep for the colonoscopy. I had a nice time with friends and family while Christmas shopping on Saturday. Didn't buy a whole lot. Think things will be conservative around here. Yesterday was a short bike ride, then wood stacking and played golf.

Karen, you've got a good rotation planned for the week. Way to go!

Rhea, enjoy the Blackberry. I can't stand working out when it's warm either. My ceiling fan is still not repaired, but I have a side portable fan going and I open the back door. Makes it tolerable.

Janie, that's awesome news about the VAC speeding up the healing!!! Bet you are so relieved. How's the picture coming? I'm always so drawn to pictures of ducks. I have a few in my living room (pictures, not ducks).

Probably won't check in tomorrow, but will on Wednesday.

Jeanette, By the time the cold weather comes you will be nice and comfortable in front of a fire. Let us know how tomorrow turn out OK? I'll be thinking of you. On the painting I got the background colors on, now I'll start a little with the water highlights. The next layer will be the water plants; it goes on layer by layer. It's many layers this time and lots of great details. It's a challenge for sure.

Rhea, So glad you have a Blackberry. When I first heard about them I kept thinking of blackberry cobbler. My daughter has one also and she likes it. You'll get use to it soon, and no one will bug you again about being on the computer. That still gawls me. Glad your workouts are doing great. I like it a little cooler in the house too, when I work out as well.

KK, As usual your workouts look great. I am getting fat!:mad: Really! I think I'm now 20 pounds or more overweight. I got my fat clothes out, had to. EEK! Can't wait to be able to control my weight when all this stuff that is happening to me is over. I worked really hard and now have to start all over again. Oh well, such as life. I'll do it again just as soon as I can. Perhaps by the time Summer arrives I'll feel better with everything once again. My weight will be under control by then. Jeesh.

Good morning!

I've been fooling around trying to get this forum a bit smaller so I can see it better on my blackberry. For some reason the blackberry puts me through all the profiles before I can get to the posts. I've changed it so that I only look at the newest post first. Hmm, I'll have to get used to looking at everything backwards. I guess it really doesn't matter since the forum keeps putting me back to the october stuff anyway. For some reason, it doesn't update my last visit. Oh well.

I'm only going to work about a 1/2 day today. DH is home still and won't be leaving until tomorrow. I'm not sure what workout I will get in, so I'll wing it.

Janie - I know you will be able to get on top of things soon. I know that yuck feeling of feeling too heavy.

Jeanette - good luck on your procedure tomorrow.

Karen- hope everything is going good with you. Your workouts look great. Give Georgie a hug.

Wow! Looks like you are all doing well today. Loved reading your posts.

Today was IMAX2 for me today, too, Jeanette. I did it all up to interval 6 and then I did 7,8, 9 without the step sections -- just the blasts -- then interval 10 as usual. But it was the a little shorter which I need right now.

Jeanette, please do let us know how you're doing after the procedure. I'll be thinking about you, as well. I'm afraid Christmas is going to be very conservative as well. I'm kinda dreading Christmas because I'm away from home. :( Am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am feeling wonderful about it.

Janie, gosh, I feel for you on the weight. :mad: I've been there, also. Know that as soon as you can start exercising againk however, that it'll start coming off. I swear by this green drink that keeps my weight under control -- if you're interested, the link is: www.juicefeasting.com. Love that graphic.

Rhea, that blackberry sounds rather complex -- I'm so not very computer-lit and I'm afraid that would confuse me. Oh, and I noticed that you DH is at home. That must be wonderful for you.:)

KK, You gave me such an inspiration. I will use healthy shakes in between meals and a couple solid ones for my middle meals. I like to try to eat 5 times a day. It makes me not so hungry in between meals. Need to make them smaller though. You are continuing to be stronger with your workouts. You should feel proud of your self. I am.

Rhea, How's the Blackberry coming along? Did you have a great 1/2 day off, and what workout did you decide on? Sorry your hubby has to take off.:( That would be such a bummer to me. Well, chin up, you have us, right?;)

I didn't workout yesterday! I was just happy to be a bit lazy while DH was doing his school work. Today will end up not being a workout day too since I'm going to have a massage. whoo hoo. I'll be all nice and rested for a good long workout tomorrow. I think I'll be bringing things with me on Thurs and Friday this time, so I'll do a little workout in the hotel room.

Well, I'm busy making protein/flax muffins. I had better go check on them.

Today was ME, the full thing. Sometimes I do the premix, express workout, but I like the whole thing so just did the whole thing. ME is one of my favs.

Rhea, am so glad that your DH is home. :p Yeah, I know when I am on tour or just going from one place to another and staying in hotels, I usually work out in my room -- I like that better than going to their "workout rooms," which sometimes are nothing more than 1-2 machines. How was the massage? Just writing about it sounds good to me. It's been a long time since I've had a massage.

Janie, yes, I am able right now to keep my weight down and even lose a little weight due to juice feasting. It helps me right now to not have to do 2 workouts a day.:confused: I make up the drink every other day and drink about 2 quarts of it a day (I used to drink 1 quart a day, but I've advanced myself up to 2 quarts now, as well.) They have a lot of info at that site to help you and walk you through it, so hopefully, that might help you. Thanks for your uplifting words. You know, I try to hang in there 6 days a week -- sometimes it's hard, but I try.

Jeanette, hope all is going well with you. I was thinking about you today. How did it go? I'm sure it wasn't exactly fun, but am hoping all is good.:)

Today was CTX Chest, Triceps and Shoulders. Tonite will be a golf practice night. My procedure in Reno went well, no polyps. Was pretty hungry when I got out so DH and I went to IHOP for pancakes (for me). Glad that test is behind me. Just the blood chem panel and will be finished.

Karen, good going on doing all of ME. That one is a toughie!

Rhea, bet the massage was nice yesterday. My Dad drove his little Jeep in the Veterans parade.

Janie, once you heal up fully, bet you can get that weight off. More important is being healthy than asthetics.

Rhea, I must be confused, (as usual) I thought your hubby was leaving to go to Reno. Sorry for the confusion. You have moments like that when you get older. At least that's my explanation and I'm sticking to it.LOL;) Enjoy the lounging and lazy days. There just aren't that many in life are there?

Jeanette, I'm glad your almost done with testing. Your workout sounds great. Love the CTX series.

KK, ME is not an easy workout, congratulations for going through the whole thing!

Today was 4DS LIS -- just the cardio, however. Good, short workout, which I needed today -- got started late for some reason and so the short workout didn't even get done until 2PM today. Sigh. Tomorrow is Cardio & Weights which I really like alot.:)

Jeanette, that's wonderful that the procedure came out well. Yea. Glad you have only the blood chem panel is left. How was golf? Yeah, I bet you were hungry afterwards. Pancakes sound heavenly.

Janie, I love this particular graphic. Classy. How's the painting coming? And the book? Every time I reach for a bar of soap now, I think of you. :p

Today was Butts & Guts floorwork, firewalkers 2X and stability ball abs. Last night went to golf course and practiced a bit. DH went with me and was very pleased with my drives at the range. It was nice having him there with me. Have to hustle as there's not much daylight in the evening after work.

Karen, enjoy Cardio & Weights today. Someday I'll be doing circuits again and can do that one. For now, it's been splits.

Janie, how's the painting coming? Bet Joey likes to peek at it.

Jeanette, Oh, those firewalkers!;) OUCH! LOL! Joey does like peeking at the painting, he is adorable these days. This one is taking a very long time, but that is OK. I'm a little out of my element, this is a very challenging painting. I need to do that ever so often to improve and grow.

KK, Cardio and Weights is another one of my favorites. I'm sure you had fun with it.

Rhea, How's it going? What kind of school work is your hubby doing? Are you hanging in there OK?

I want to give you all a Christmas present, and all I could think of was perhaps a couple of bars of soap just to show my gratitude. What do you think? I will need your addresses for that, so perhaps you could give me that information privately either in a private message or email me at [email protected]. It would be soap for normal skin, unless you have a preference. Just let me know. Please don't feel like you have to return the favor. I want to do this because all year long you have inspired me and kept me going with my book, workouts, healing, and eating regime. I just want to thank you all for that. I wish it could be more because you took the time to help, you cared, and shared. It's priceless and it means a lot to me. Even though I haven't met you, I feel like I have gained good/precious friends.;):rolleyes::D I know, I'm rambling on, words just don't come to me the way I want them to, but, I think you know what I'm trying to say.

Good morning!

Just a very quick post since I'm here at work. I worked out yesterday and did the P90 Cardio Intervals. I was going to try and squeeze in a workout today before I went to Reno for the class, but I'm running out of time. I think the only thing I'll be able to get done is finish packing, get the animals all together and pack the car. Darn it. I'm taking stuff with me thought, so maybe I can do a shorty this evening when I get to the room. It might be too late though.

Janie, you are too cute! My hubby is a prinicpal at a K-5 school in the Bay Area. Yesterday was a day that he did not like the job. He is a great teacher and is a good administrator, but doesn't like the politics. He has very high standards so he struggles with the politics stuff. Most people are just sailing through the job (at least that is how he feels.)

Karen - how are you doing?

Jeanette - squeezing in that golf still huh? Wow. I just have too many other things I want to do lately. I've been working away at my cross-stitch. I've been having fun fighting with the cats for my chair (they think that it is their job to hang over me or on me while I cross-stitch. just doesn't work that way!)

Well, I had better run and get my stuff done at home. I need to pick up a book on tape too! I'm out!

Today was Cardi & Weights -- a good workout, for sure. Boy life is busy here -- even being away from home. Sure do hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel more often though.

Jeanette, those firewalkers are killers. Yes, I see that you are doing splits -- but I've heard that after a time, splits work better and get better results than doing full body workouts all at once. What do you think? And that's great on the golf.

Janie, you are so sweet. So very, very sweet. You know that you have helped us a lot as well. It's mutual I'm afraid Christmas is going to be a little tough on us this year. My books are 14 months apart and so finances could be better and then there's the economy, the banksters, et al. Love that graphic -- are your grandchildren coming soon for the holidays?

Rhea, I knew that your DH was a teacher, but I didn't know he was a Principal. Yeah, I bet there are a bunch of politics in his job, heaven forbid. It would be tough, I think. Did you manage to get a workout in? Have fun with your time out -- and being there with your hubby. Have a great time.

Short post tonight. Just to keep updated. Today was 4DS Bootcamp, cardio only and tomorrow I plan Intensity series Boot Camp. Touch workout.

Am having weight trouble again -- it started with my daughter's wedding -- got off my regular diet -- and I've just not been able to catch it. The a few days ago, I was down in the dumps and ate some chocolate. Goodness! The weight went on so fast, my head spun. :eek:

So it's back to what works for me -- can't do the evening workouts right now as the people below me would be bothered. So... I guess it's going to have to be diet change back to what works for me.

Anyway, have a super weekend, every one! :D

Wasn't able to post this morning as I went to an early breakfast get together where my DH works. I did do Tracy Staehle's High Intensity Step for about 20 minutes, then switched to Christi Taylor's Solid Gold Step. Love that workout. Total was around 40 minutes or so. After work was a golf playing lesson. I did okay, but still have a very long way to go with the golf skills. Probably the toughest activity I've ever pursued.

Karen, good for you for hitting the Boot Camp workouts. Those aren't easy. I love chocolate too. Oh well, it'll come off for you I'm sure. I just keep mixing up the workouts. I do enjoy the circuits and they are effective for a little while, then switch up to the weights. I find the 4DS weight workouts very good for me.

Rhea, politics, yuck. Hope your DH gets past the tough stuff. Yes, I'm still enjoying the golf. Am playing with Mary Jo on Sunday morning. We're enjoying this nice weather so I'd better take advantage.

Janie, yes, you are a sweetie! Know you will be able to handle the challenge of the painting. Bet it is taking shape. Did you find any locks to pick? I find that so interesting that you enjoy the challenge of the lock puzzle. Shoot, you could probably qualify to be a locksmith here at our prison.

So, I think I've figured out how to post from my Blackberry. I am sitting in my class and checking in to see what you've been up too. No workouts for me. Too darn tired yesterday after class.

KK- I'm going have to detox tomorrow. I hv eaten so bad today, I'm feeling it already. Hopefully tomorrow I'll hv enough energy to do a real nice long sweaty workout

Well I had better get back to paying better attn. I'm actually multi-tasking pretty well. I am really surprised how fast I can type on this thing.

Yeah, today was Intensity series Boot Camp -- one of my favorites. Yeah, weight -- goodness here it is high and we're coming into the holidays...

Rhea, yeah, you should see my daughters (both of them) -- fingers go like made as they are texting or online with their phones. Goodness! I don't understand exactly how they can do it so fast, but they do.

Jeanette, your workouts often inspire me -- I am trying to mix things up a bit, but I don't do it nearly as much as I should. How was your niece's party? Interesting how tough golf is -- it's sure is a beautiful sport with the courses so pretty.

Janie, hope all is well with you.

KK, It is so refreshing to see you on top of your diet. You get right back on the ban wagon when you first notice it. That is so cool.:cool: That's what it is all about, cause if I don't it creaps up further and then I have many pounds to lose instead of just a couple. Good job!

Jeanette, Tracy Staehle's workouts are very advanced like Cathe's and using her and Christi Taylor is quite the workout you must have gotten. Wow, I'm impressed. I had no idea that golfing was so hard to play. One day I'll push my hubby into golfing (he use to golf) and see what you are talking about. LOL. I'm going to have to try it next year for sure. We have a golf place not very far from where we live. I eyeball it now everytime I pass it.

Rhea, You are starting to shorten your words and yet, I understand them. For example "Hv a gr8 rest of the day". I like it.
