KK's February Check-In

Good Evening!

Please forgive me for being so brief. Again, it's late and I'm trying to get to bed as fast as I can -- try to get more sleep.

I took the day off today -- just didn't get enough sleep last night so used those extra minutes for sleep.

Rhea, your workouts look fun and inspiring. Bet you'll love STS.

Janie, I'm amazed that you're already up to 10. Wow! I got a few pounds to get rid of too. I have to fix my eating also -- didn't have supper cause I was rushed and so when I got home and relaxed, here I am eating... I'm eating good things -- but they still put on pounds.

Jeanette, sounds like you really have a good handle on your workouts and STS -- I love hearing about the things that you and Rhea are creating.

Tomorrow I plan to jump back on and get more workouts done. Have a wonderful day! :D
 
Good Mornin,

Did the Wedding video in it's entirety. All 52 minutes of cardio. Lost 2 pounds and feeling great. Will do Back and Triceps today on Disk 11 of the STS series. Can't believe this is the last week of Meso 1. I start Meso 2 Mon.

KK, Not enough sleep, not eating right? Those are things that can hurt your body. I wish you'd finish up and get home where you belong. You poor thing. I worry about you. I think you eat the correct things, just not at the right times.

Rhea, What are you planning on sewing this weekend? How will you incorporate STS with Chalean? Sounds like an interesting way of working out.

Jeanette, What is the name of your quilt that you are sewing? I've been on my quilt for several years now.LOL! True and sad. One day I'll finish it though.

Today I did 1/2 of HSC -- a challenging workout. I plan to finish it up tomorrow.

Yea! Janie, well done on the 2 lbs. Keep it up.

Yes, I really want to get home. I'm eating well enough and the right things, but I have so much work to do that I tend to not get enough sleep.

Oh, I lost my cat this morning and it took me 3 hours to get him back. Needless to say, he won't be going out tomorrow. I just don't want to chance losing him.

Well, again, I gotta run! Get to bed as fast as I can. Have a super day tomorrow!
 
Just a quick note for me too tonight. Got some things to do on my trial tomorrow and I want to get to bed earlish.

Today did Fat Burn Challenge and had a massage.

I'm not sure what I'll be doing this weekend Janie. I might finish my skirt and then tackle the duvet cover for the bed.

Hi all,
No workout for me this morning, but I did go to Garage Boys tonite and did Cardio Coach #6 (Candace). Great workout.

Karen, I'm feeling like I need a sleep in day myself. Glad you didn't lose Georgie. That would have been just awful.

Janie, good job on losing 2#. I don't have the wedding video. Is it a good one? The pattern for my quilt is called "Storm at Sea". Really not a beginner's pattern I can see now, but it's coming along well. We have 17 blocks done out of the 28. I have pictures posted on my Cathe Space.

Rhea, I'm enjoying my new machine. Hoping to find a quilting class in machine quilting some time. I need to buy a walking foot.

Did disk 12, legs. Whew! My legs feel like jello. Will do treadmill tomorrow for cardio. I now have a week off from STS.

Jeanette, The wedding video, is a intermediate routine. 52 min for step ups, and and then weight lifting. I've never done the weight lifting part yet. Love the pictures of your quilts. They are not beginners. Beautiful work!

Rhea, Enjoy your sewing projects. Have a terrific weekend.

KK, I'm so glad Gerogia is well. That must have been very scary. Good idea to keep him in.

Talk with you all after the weekend. I'm so tired today, so will relax and watch a shoe with my Joey.

Good morning,
Let's see, Thursday was STS Legs #6A, which I enjoyed. I didn't think it was too bad, was expecting worse. Yesterday, I was off on a furlough day so I did all of Rhythmic Step, then STS Yoga Abs. Today was STS Disk 4B, nice warm feeling in my arms now. That one is Chest, Shoulders and Biceps. A goodie! Got to play golf yesterday with a couple friends and enjoyed it as the weather was nice. Not sure what we are doing today.

Janie, enjoy this rest week. What kind of activities do you have planned? I hear STS #12 is a toughie, but you made it! Are you noticing strength increases? I like repeating the week as I know what's coming and can put more into it. Thanks for the compliments on the quilts. I think we will be ready to sew the blocks together on Tuesday night.
