Kitty allergies?

My poor kitty has had teary eyes for the last couple of days and I'm wondering if it's allergies. He sneezes a lot too. His eyes don't seem to bother him (he's not squinting or pawing at them). Is there anything I can do or give him to make it better? I read online the vet can give him a steroid shot, but I'd really rather do something natural, as opposed to just giving him drugs. Any ideas? TIA!!

It might be more than allergies, you should take him to the vet to make sure it is not a cold which can be dangerous to them

ITA - A quick trip to the vet will determine if it is an upper respiratory infection. URI is easy to treat, the vet will give you an antibiotic, but dangerous if left untreated. It is possible that it's just allergies - one of my cats gets them - but you really want to be sure.

My cat is just going thru a really vicious URI. He has been so sick and the vet had to switch his antibiotic. He now seems to be recovering tho he hasn't gotten his appetite back yet tho he is drinking water. I don't know if your kitty has allergies or a URI. I think you should check with your vet. Friends have suggest Little Noses nosedrops but I haven't gotten up the courage to try them. This is in addition to antibiotics. Really--see your vet.
