kickboxing tapes

Cathlete
Hello,

I have just begun taking kickboxing classes. I would love to supplement with one of cathe's tapes--- i noticed she has 4 available-- might someone suggest one and note the differences?
thanks very much.

The two tapes I have are Kick, Punch, and Crunch, and Kick Max.

KPC is more cardio-intesnive than KM, except for the blast challenge section of KM.

KM has these awesome leg conditioning drills that will work on not only added flexibility to the legs, but will improve kicking skill as well, something I am most inetersted in as I plan on teaaching classes myself in the near future.

If I could only choose one, I'd choose Kick Max simply because of the drill section. Luckily, I don't have to choose and really enjoy both.

Another suggestion would be to check out the video clips from the home page, and the reviews on Collage Video's website.

Hope this helps,

Jerry

I'd suggest Kick,Punch and Crunch (KPC) ... my favorite. CTX Kickboxing is part of CTX series so you have to purchase the entire series to get it unless you find it VHS on Ebay. Cardio Kicks was Cathe's first kb, and her form isn't as good as it is now; it also has a lot of high impact routines. KPC has more variety than KM, imo, and the DVD also has Legs&Glutes weight routine which is very good. Cathe's new series, due out this week, has a kb segment and the previews look great.
