I really need a good pair of shoes that will work for kickboxing and kenpo class. Can anyone reccomend a website for women. Seems like all the shoes I find are sized for men. Does it matter or are they pretty much uni sex?
Thanks everyone.

When I took Tae Kwon Do classes for a long time at a formal school, we were required to go barefoot. If you are going to take classes at a school, you might want to check if they require anything specific. For example if there is going to be sparring, you can't have students kicking each other in the face with heavy shoes. When I took Karate classes also at a formal school, we had to wear a specific shoe made for Karate; those shoes were unisex. On the other hand, if you are doing this at home with videos, I would suggest getting either a nice women's cross trainer (like Ryka) if you like cushion and support. Personally I use vibram five fingers or go barefoot now for all martial arts workouts at home on DVD.
