Good Morning gals

Well, I was MIA yesterday! can't remember the last week day I didn't check in!!:eek: I had worked out in the morning (did the DIVA workout from AOS,... very good by the way) and then spent the day painting my family room! finishing up today!

today's workout:
**warm up
2 cycles: wall squats/halos/pumps

**c&p and pull ups
5 ladders/ 4 rungs/ no rests
25#kb
all pullups assisted

**swings
35#kb
25 swings/ 10 seconds rest
total 13 total cycles

Good morning everybody! Well , it's still cold and gray but I think it should improve as the day goes by, it will be a good day to finish my psych paper! Yesterday evening I ended up doing Providences using my 25# kettlebell, except for the windmills. I finally bought some wristbands to give a little bit of cushion when doing snatches and they were a good investment, I did the first minute of the snatch challenge with my 25# and the rest with my 20#.

Deanie- I hope you're enjoying the your painting, I painted the ground floor and part of the upstairs last winter and still have not decided on a color for the last two rooms upstairs, can you say procrastinate?!

Deadlifts were okay last night. I was hoping to get up to A 1X5 set at 190, but had to bail out of 185 at the fourth rep. Based on how I finished Rachel Cosgrove's program, this is probably where I should be right now...no sense in pushing it too hard.

Tonight I'm planning to do today's WOD from www.crossfit.com:

3 rounds for time
400M run
21 KB swing (16kg for women)
12 Pull ups - I'll sub jumping pull ups

I may practice my jumprope double unders afterward.

Hi everyone. I forgot to check in yesterday. I did Low Max all step premix. Today may be a rest day for me.

Deanie- Good workout. Have fun painting. What does Diva consist of?

Gayle- Your deadlift ability is so impressive! I have been looking at the workouts on Crossfit. I may try to step up my game-eventually ;).

Andilynn- Good job on Providence. I know you have ADD so try not to get too distracted when doing your paper.

Good Afternoon!

This morning I did 4DS Kickbox. I was real sore from Newport yesterday, especially in my inner thighs (the cossack stretches are coming back to haunt me!) and in my upper back (it hurt throwing the left hooks). I had a pretty good workout but enjoyed the stretch most of all.

Deanie - Yes, inquiring minds want to know: what does Diva consist of? What color did you paint your family room?

Impressive you have no rests between C&Ps and pullups.

Andilynn - I hope you get your psych paper finished. We're procrastinating too - we still haven't painted our living room and dining room yet. Good job on the snatches!
