Keep getting a "script running" message..

Hi,

Everytime I sign on to the Forum boards, I get a script running message saying that a particular script is running and it is causing the internet to slow down...do I want to stop it?"....

This started when the new server was installed....
 
SNM:....still getting this script error every time I sign on to the formums, and sometimes when I switch from one board to another....this is the only site I get this on.....
 
This is not something we've seen on any of our browsers. More than likely this is something specific to your browser settings or security software.
 
I am having the same issue. It just started today. I get the script running message every time I go into a forum thread, only on this forum. I don't think it's anything on my end.
 
Still happening to me too....

It still happens to me everytime I come on this site, and only this one. I did some Google research and they said that there could be a programming error on the site that our computers recognize or something. Funny that it started right after they made some changes to the site.

It's very annoying that's for sure!:mad:

I showed my husband what was going on and he thinks it's a bad javascript running on the site, which would be a programming error. It is annoying, especially when trying to check in and post :(

can you please take a look at this? It is getting worse, I can't even move from one post to another without the "error" happening.
 
We haven't made any changes to the forum software and we haven't noticed any errors. I would need a screen shot of the error message and the browser version you are using to look at this.

The error message is:

"Cathe.com is not responding due to a long running script"

I have seen this error using Internet Explorer 9 and
Firefox 21.0. I am running Windows 7.0 Professional
 
I have a hard time getting on with my oh one! It has been doing it since they did something awhile back. That was about three months ago I think. I will delete it and then I install it again. It is annoying
 
I tried pasting a screen shot in here but it would not let me do it....this is what it says:

A script on this paget is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive.

then you have to check the block in order for the error block to go and to resume whatever you are doing... I think it started when you installed the new server.
 
Seems to be corrected? Sure hope so!

Not sure what happened, or if you fixed it, but it seems to be working ok now...I didn;t get the error block once yet while on the site, and it was coming up everytime I moved from any point to any point...so

Java script problem

We did find one java script that needed to be updated and we fixed it. It only was aproblem in certain browsers. Hopefully this working for everyone now, but if not please let us know.
