Kathryn or Rhonda Cook--Core Secrets?

Kathryn and Rhonda,

I saw in a search that both of you had ordered Core Secrets. I only recently saw the infomercial, and I'm really thinking about these. What did you think of them? If I go for it, should I get the add-ons?
Thanks, I really appreciate your input!

I have them, and have previewed, but have not used them yet (I'm on a P90X rotation). I think they will be good for a lighter workout that stresses the core, like during a recovery week. The workouts look fun and the exercises themselves look effective.

Kathryn,

Thanks! Hey, did you get your TLP Yorktowns yet? I saw on the videofitness forum that you hadn't (at least I think it's you!). I've started participating over there also, although I'm LHL there. I didn't intend to have different names on the different forums; I signed up over there about five months earlier than here, but never posted, and forgot what ID I had set up there! I also didn't realize then that people were in different forums and used the same ID. It makes sense though.

Thanks, again! :7

No, Lisa, I didn't get my Yorktowns yet (hear that noise, it's me fuming!). I'm starting to worry that something went glitchy with the order. My credit card was charged, though.

Did you order the TLP's as well? I'm anxious to see them. What I've read about them sounds good (but also makes me more impatient about getting them!)

Yep, I'm the same Kathryn at VF. Guess I just lack imagination!

Hi Lisa
I haven't ordered them, yet. I did but canceled it when they said they were out of stock and it would be a little longer.
But in about a week, after we return from vacation, I am going to order them, but I am not going to order the add-ons......
VeeKee/Vicki, has them, she said she likes them .......

Kathryn and Rhonda-Thanks!

Rhonda,

Thanks! I actually ordered last night, because they're reduced on the website (coresecrets.com) again (2 payments of $19.95, instead of $29.95). I haven't gotten a confirmation in email yet though...hmmm.

Kathryn,

Yes I ordered the TLPs also, and also have not received them. I've emailed them twice as well, with no response. I guess we'll get them when we get them. If I don't hear something soon though, I'm going to call. It's especially irritating to hear that someone who ordered last week already has them!

Thank you to you both! I don't "know" either of you, but from your posts I know I value your input!

RE: Kathryn and Rhonda-Thanks!

Thanks Lisa, I ordered it too, couldn't pass up that price :7 .. I tried doing it by phone, but the guy said he didn't know about the lower price, I told him never mind, I am going to order it off the web site :7 ... and I did get a order comfirmation...... but I did email them asking why the price was higher over the phone..... Rhonda

RE: Kathryn and Rhonda-Thanks!

Hi guys! I have the Core Secrets workouts and I have to agree with Kathryn - they are definitely easier than Cathe's workouts. I also have the TLP workouts but have only previewed them. Has anyone tried them yet? I am waiting for my P90X workouts too, so I am a little overwhelmed with what to do first!!! x( Maybe I should have slowed down on my video ordering frenzy!!!;-)

I had a baby a few weeks ago, so would anyone recommend which one to use (TLP, Cathe, or P90X) to shed the "jelly-belly?" Thanks ladies! :)

RE: Kathryn and Rhonda-Thanks!

Sara,

Congratulations! Thanks for letting me know what you think about these workouts. Regarding your question, I'm probably not a good one to ask. I did exercise of some sort all my life until I was about 25, and then stopped for about 10 years, during which time I had my two boys. I also don't have P90X, so I can't comment on that. I guess I would just say start slow, whatever you do. The first three TLPs (core foundation, etc) required a lot of core strength, and it sounds like the new ones do also. If your core is feeling weak from the pregnancy, I would say start with either Cathe or possibly P90X, and just start light with your weights, until you can tell what you can handle. Again, I didn't get back to working out until a year after my second one was born, so I don't know how quickly you can get into serious exercise.

RE: Kathryn and Rhonda-Thanks!

As much as I LOVE Tracie Long, I am hesitant to order from her yet, their website is always messed up, I cant get into the forums, I have emailed her literally about 8x's regarding this and now I read some of you are waiting on videos with no explanation, I also heard the website was not secure??? I hope this stuff gets straightend out, because I think TLP could offer a nice variety to our workouts;)

RE: Kathryn and Rhonda-Thanks!

I didn't have any problems with Tracie's site or ordering. I also got my videos within a week. I hope that it all gets worked out for those of you that are having problems!! Good luck!
