Kangoo Jumps Anyone??????

Does anyone have these or has anyone tried them? Any Crunch fitness people out there? Tell me this wouldn't make a fun road trip? Any other clubs have them?????

I think I'm slightly obsessed with the idea! Maybe I've spent way too much time on my rebounder in the past few weeks, but this is looking like so much fun, rebound anywhere! Run! Jump! & Kick! I'm diggin' the techno beats too!

I haven't tried them but it looks fun & looks like it would be less impact on the joints, but I don't know if I'm coordinated enough to manage this. I can trip just on a step routine; can't imagine with kangaroo, jumpy thingy on my feet.

I looked & looked & couldn't find any crashes...I was thinking the same thing...apparently one of the selling points is they are really easy to learn to use & safe, there's quite a lot of testimonials on their official site...

I think I read they were originally designed for knee rehab and they're posture correcting (who doesn't need that) one little push and I'm gettin' 'em!...

OMG! I love them!

Bet you can't just go outside your door and start running. May need to use wood floor or perhaps a track?

People say they are heavy, so I might wait for the next generation for a less heavier style. But, I love them!

I know it's pretty much a done deal when I'm trying to figure out what color to get......boyfriend is about ready to give me the "boot", I hope I can get my Kangoos before that happens!

Did you ever just see something that has your name on it?...:)

Oh my goodness I WANT a pair! Do they sell dvds with workouts using the kangoo jumps? I would love to hear if anyone gets a pair and what their experiences are.

They do have videos, but I haven't found but a few seconds of clips. I like some of the routines on youtube & thought hi/lo might be a good fit.:)

Wow, those look like a blast! I wonder if anyone ever falls over though?!

This video was the only crash I found so far, and one that shows more extreme uses...

I was so hoping someone here had tried them too & could give a first hand account, no one from Easton PA? State College PA? Rockville Md? I didn't know if I should go to a class & try them out first?...

I've been using Kangoo Jumps for over a year now, and they totally rock. It's like having your own personal trampoline wherever you go :)

It sure is great fun, and they're very safe and easy to use. The sole is very broad, and the hard boot supports your ankle, you can't twist or sprain it. And it's more of a shock absorber than a kangaroo jumpy thingy :D And yes, they do an amazing job of absorbing the impact on your joints. I couldn't really run any more because of knee problems, now that's a thing of the past.

Actually you can use them anywhere: indoors as well as outdoors, I do cross country running on pretty rough terrain with them, more easily than in running shoes.
They are heavy yes. But you really don't notice the weight, because you have such fun doing it :) As an added bonus, because of the weight you burn almost twice as many calories during a workout.

There is a whole section with workout DVDs at http://shop.kangoos.info, they give you a discount there.

So did you get them? I'd love to hear your experiences with them!

Another added bonus, apart from all the medical ones: it makes you 8 inches taller - feels pretty cool! And another: it's a natural anti-depressant. It's physically impossible to be grumpy while you're boucing, it just automatically makes you grin :D

Yes! This is my new fitness regime! I just started and what you say is true, they are super easy to stand on (being extra tall feels cool too) break in is a little awkward, but you do feel really balanced & secure on them.

They don't feel that heavy but my first few workouts I felt it afterwords in the legs, but I also do strength exercises daily. I'm using the Kangoo Kick video to get some of the moves down and get used to them. I'll probably go to a local track to try them out jogging. I can't wait to do the dance routines I see online.

Who would have thought that feeling of euphoria you get from jumping in these would last all day long?....:D

I had to say no to a lot of other programs and plans to get these, but they fit perfectly into my routine & will help me reach my fitness goals. So happy about that!

Hey there, sorry for the late reply :)

Good to hear that you're enjoying your Kangoo Jumps! Yes, they're very addictive, and they make me feel totally euphoric as well :D
Just came across this video, and it totally cracks me up - I'm sure the reason that girl fell is because of the ridiculous kangaroo suit, and not because of the kangoo Jumps :)

Happy hopping!
