Just gave it try for the very 1st time and I think I know the new meaning of working out LOL I couldn't do it all through without having to get some water now and then, is that terrible, guess I need to get in shape more then this.

It is absolutely not terrible! I always have water on hand no matter what workout I'm doing. And don't worry, IMax2 is not easy. Just take your time and work your way up to it, modify whenever you have to. If you are sweating and feeling it, you are getting a good workout whether you complete all the intervals or not. As time goes on you will be able to do more and it will give you a great sense of accomplishment!

Enjoy this workout, it is one of my absolute FAVS! Love everything about it, especially the music.

This one will eventually seem a bit easier once you've done it a couple of times. Drink all that water it helps no matter where you are in that workout if your body needs it then so be it!

Leslie I drink about a gallon of water every workout If you are thirsty you need it If you don't drink you get tired I sweat immensly which is why I need so much water So stopping to drink especially in this workout is no big deal the recovery time is agood time to sip water as you know as long as you just walk around as Cathe says that is enough you really don't have to follow her pattern during recovery This a.m I did the first Interval Max and it was hard too! Then I did ctx weight upper body so right now I am feeling very shaky the body worked Anyways keep up the good work it will get easier!

Leslie~I consider myself an advanced exerciser (no bragging intended) but cannot get thru that workout without water. It is the only workout that I crave water. My body can exercise thru any hour workout and I don't have a desire for water, although I do drink it because I know I need it, if that makes sense. But, whew, put on IMax2 and it is screaming for water. How weird is that? Like Lisa said...I also just grab my water bottle while doing the recovery part, such as side steps and take it in then so I don't quit moving. (very important to keep your legs moving!) It does get easier. Just keep at it. MY VERY FAV WORKOUT!!!

I had TWO huge glasses of water to drink with that and then another when done LOL. now that was a major workout, thought I was building up my staminal with her other tapes, then I used this and WOW!! I have never worked like that before, was great though I really loved it, now I need some weight training tapes to use on alternate days. but have to wait to get more money to build up my Cathe Library LOL

Also Leslie, be sure to drink plenty of water all throughout the day. This will help reduce your chances of becoming dehydrated after working out. Of course, you still need that workout-time water too!

How often can I do Imax2 a week? I only have one weight tape so far all the rest of my videos are step aerobics all but her ab hits. I am trying to figure out my rotation I want to get into.

I also wanted to say thanks to all, you have been great on answering and talking to me :)

You can do Imax2 two times a week. Don't do it two consecutive days in a row. What videos do you have to make up a rotation with?
