Just done my first Cathe workout ever!

Well, just done the first workout on Timesaver - I think I am going to LOVE these workouts!

I found some of the step moves a bit tricky and had to rewind a few times on the dvd...I must have spent an extra 15 minutes or so trying trying to figure out the moves...will take me a few more attempts I think!

I also have the Terminator DVD and just quickly looked through the workouts after I had done Timersaver #1 - I think it will be a while before I ebven try those out!

I am SO glad that I have discovered Cathe :7

Welcome to the madness!! LOL!! Soon, you'll want them all!!! You won't be able to resist!! She's the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hang in there with the step moves. I'm very much a step klutz, and it took me a few times to figure out some of her more tricky choreography, but eventually it all comes together and when it does, it just flows right along! Have fun and enjoy!!!

Isn't Cathe Awsome!! What # Timesavor did you do? I just did The Viper this morning. It was a tough workout for me today. I guess it because I am really not use to doing circuit style. I think I am going to start doing this type of workout once a week because I know it is a great all over body workout. Let us know when you do your first Terminator workout.

Hi everyone,

Yes, I think I am probably going to have to collect the whole lot! I am hooked already.

I did Timesaver #1 - I figured that as it was my first Cathe workout I should just do the first one on the dvd!

I'm going to do the other Timesavers throughout this week and then over the weekend, I might feel brave enough to try out one of the Terminators! What really freaked me out on the Terminator dvd when I viewed it, though, was the fact that Cathe herself was out of breath - sheesh! I was breathless just watching that!

I'm a pretty experienced stepper, however it's been a while since I've done any with fancy moves - what really caught me out on the Timesaver was when I had to do the turns - I'm trying to look at what direction Cathe is going on the tv screen and I'm trying to go the opposite way, but it is very confusing! And then when I managed to figure it out on the one leg, Cathe goes and confuses me even more by going onto the other leg!! I'm sure I'll get it all with time.

Well, it's been a while since I've ever been this enthusiastic about exercise - I'm really going to enjoy these :)

Hi Brit, I don't know if you know this already but I will tell you anyway just in case. The Tirminator is from Cathe's IS series. It is the 4 workout mix up to make it more intense and more circuit style. It is Imax 2, ME, C&W, and Bootcamp. I don't know why they never put in The Pyramids. Do you have any of these?

Don't worry about ending up on the other side of the step. When I first did a video verses the gym it was very confusing. I still sometimes end of on the wrong side. Well welcome to the wonderful world of Cathaholic, LOL. Oh I just took a live class of her kickboxing class about a month ago. It was tough but very fun. I posted some pictures at picturetrail.

The kickboxing pictures look great! I knew Terminator was from IS, but I don't have any of the individual workouts...I'll probably get them in due course!

Welcome! I've done Cathe's videos for a long time, but Terminator was my first DVD. I absolutely love it! Yes there are some pretty tricky step moves but you will get them in time and be sweating and grinning like the rest of us. I don't have Timesaver...YET!..and yes, I'd like to know the first Terminator you do too...:)...Carole

Hi Brit-Josie

Well done on your first Cathe workout! You started with the tough new stuff I see.

My "parcel" of the BB series and Terminator arrived today (don't you just hate those UK import charges though...x( ) and I'm chomping at the bit to give them a go - but which one first!!??

Here's wishing you great workouts.

Hi again WebGirl,

Well, I thought the Timesaver would be a good "introduction" to Cathe's workouts - each one isn't too long and it gives you a good idea of the step moves.

Luckily, I was able to benefit from a ya ya trade, otherwise I just couldn't afford it at the moment! I have decided that I will collect more of the workouts - just wish they had a European/UK distribution!

Have fun!
Josie

Hi UK Cathe Fans!

Yesterday I did my first Cathe workout too! It was 'Step Jam' off the Classics DVD, and it was fantastic! :) So much more intense than the other cardio workouts I have - and I thought Super Cardio Mix was tough, not compared to this.

I had to rewind some of it too, but I know I'll get it down after a couple of times through.

I'd love some of the newer Cathe DVDs (actually I'd love all Cathe's DVDs), and the timesaver sounds great, but the Terminator scares me!

I think I'm going to need a larger step though, as the one I have is not the full club length, so it made some of the moves a bit awkward.

I'm doing 'step heat' tomorrow!

Emma

I never realised there were so many UK Cathe fans out there - perhaps we should try and find out just how many of us there are!

Thanks for that Debbie!

Now I've had a flavor of the various workouts on Timesaver, I want to get the full BB series!!!

BB is G-R-E-A-T! Let me know when you do L&G's! Fun tape and great music!

I did Timesaver #4 today - OMG, I absolutely loved the kickbox sections! I really do have to get the entire kick punch crunch workout now - that music is just AWESOME, really gets me motivated. I can't believe it's taken me so long to discover these workouts.

Hi again Brit-Josie

Are you completely stuck on DVD's or would you be up for trying VHS versions of some of Cathe's older ones like Step Works and BodyMax in the short term?

Let me know...

Cheers for now
