Junk food recommendations?

Right now I'm hankering for a chocolate pizza!! Take some pizza dough, or frozen bread dough, or even a loaf of pita bread, bake it in the oven, then spread it with melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts:9 }(

You can make this healthy by using WW pita bread and dark chocolate.:9

Well, Nancy, you've probably made your decision by now (What did you get??:D ) but my 2cents worth:Entemanns is not worth the calories if you want something REALLY good. PB M&Ms are fabulous, but I would go even richer!!!! The dove chocolate mentioned or the Ghirdellis (which comes in many flavors!)Do you have Seroogy's chocolates? They are wonderful. Or some chocolate rocky road or moose track ice cream...

I wound up having a festival of calories: two Thomas's giant WW bagels slathered with unmeasured peanut butter. An unusual treat for me, because the bagels have high fructose corn syrup and I usually stay away from, or carefully measure, the PB because of the calories.

But I'm still in a take-no-prisoners mood and will pick up some Ghiradelli or Dove chocolate (dark) today and some cookies. The freezer is already stocked with lots of ice cream, as always! }(

Thanks Suzanne and Michele, but I don't know how to use my oven. :p

Thanks Christine, but I don't think we have Tandy out here.

Nancy - enjoy your chocolates.

If you ever feel ambitious I will gently point out that the PB items require only a little stove-top melting and, even then, you could nuke the butter and the chocolate.

I actually made some this morning for DXMIL and kept a few for me, so I'm off to munch!

Almond m&ms. I would eat them by the pound if I bought them. So I don't. They are way better than the peanut ones, IMHO and I used to LUUUUUUV the peanut ones. Now I'm into Trader Joes peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets (11= one serving) along w/ 1 square of TJ's dark belgian chocolate (72% cocoa). Pop a pretzel nugget into mouth and nibble a corner of the chocolate square. Repeat until all 11 have been eaten and the chocolate is gone. Really good and really addictive. Must go eat some now...

Chocolate IS the answer, regardless of the question.

Nancy-Personally, when I need a chocolate fix, I reach for Chex Mix Chocolate...either Peanut Butter or Turtle flavor! YUMMO!

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....I have 2 bags tucked away so NOBODY can find them! HA!

Oh c'mon Nancy give us more than bagels with peanut butter!;) You are too good!:7 I dare you to eat half a can of Betty Crocker's Whipped Frosting-in chocolate of course.heehee. Just kiddin', enjoy yourself, we all deserve a little "foodie love" every now and then.:7

Tneah, you would win the dare, because the frosting would make me sick. ;) But how's this: I just ate half a Lindt Intense Dark chocolate bar. I couldn't find Ghiardelli at the store. My review: thumbs down. 70% cocoa made my tongue feel like it was growing hair. :( Now I'm going to try some Dove dark.

ETA: The Dove wins! :D

tneah-i love frosting out of the can. i have gone and bought two cans before-well more times than i like to admit (because you really need to mix the chocolate and the vanilla for maximum taste enjoyment). anyway, one time i was at the store buying them and the checkout guy was like, "oh, you're baking a cake. i guess you already have the cake mix at home!" of course, i lied and said sure. how silly of me that i bought the cake mix and forgot the frosting!!! :p :p :p

my obsession right now are the PB M&Ms. i also like chocolate coverd raisins and malted milk balls (real ones, not whoppers).

Oh thank goodness someone else loves that nasty stuff!:) I think I inherited the "frosting gene" from my dad who adores that white fluffy frosting found on white sheet cakes at the grocers.
In fact for my birthday one year, they got me a plate of frosting instead of a cake-I do not like cake, just that yummy frosting.:9

The Dove chocolates are yummy too!

I hope you're feeling better, Nancy. Hopefully the yummy treats you had fed your soul....and your cold! :7 During the holidays, M&M's were on sale all over the place plus I had coupons so I stocked up. I usually don't eat candy much but I treated myself over the holidays. The batch of peanut m&m's I had was the freshest, most delicious ones I think I have ever had. I also bought the peanut butter ones but for me, I didn't get a strong enough peanut butter taste. It just tasted like I was eating a milder version of the ones with peanuts. So I'm sticking to the peanut m&m's for now. I still have 1/2 a bag left, but maybe none after I finish this post! }( :9

I ate two pieces of Dove chocolate and gave the rest to my DH. Then I whipped out the new jar of crunchy organic peanut butter and slathered it all over those Thomas's bagels again! OMG was that good!!!  I washed it down with half a liter of Diet Pepsi and floated off to Cloud Nine.

I'm feeling better today and it's back to salads. But I'm already looking forward to my next cold! :p :9 :+ :7 Apparently, I am a PB fanatic.
