July RT check in 7/7

Yeah, another day closer. IMAX3 for me today. What an awesome feeling to complete that one. I haven't done it in a while, it took me a long time to conquer that one. I always found the choreography a bit of a challenge, especially once I started to fatigue. So a great feeling today to finish it w/o difficulties, not w/o a lot of sweat though!! DRIPPING!!!

Busy week for me, taking all of my daycare kids to VBS at our church. No relaxing this week.

Good Morning RT's!

Well day 1 of my rotation and I decided sleep was better than working out! Anyway I did 4DS HIS, Chest & Back.

Tami, I hope you survive your week. It sounds very busy.

I have training the next 2 1/2 days and then the rest of the week I will catch up.

Tami, Unfortunately Imax3 blasts are near-impossible fo rme right now but I do love the step-only premix still. Have a fun week with the kiddos!

Colleen, Great WO despite sleeping in! I wish I could workout in the AM.

I did PUB Pyramid Down premix just before lunch. Hoping to go to water aerobics tonight with one of my teenage sisters.

Today I did GS BSB, C&W abs and IMAX3. It was probably too much and I was really tired during some of those IMAX3 blasts and had to modify!:p

If any of you notice my rotation for the week, you'll notice none of the workouts involve any choreography at all, just the way I like 'em!!! I look forward to watching the rest of you in action during the step aerobics class at the RT.....:7

Today was KPC Cardio Conditioing and a segment from Total Body Stretching.

Hi, fellow July RT-ers,
Today I did KPC -- wow! I love that workout. I also did part of a Hip Hop Dance Workout with my DDs. It was lots of fun, although we clearly do not have natural hip hop talent! :)

Tami -- I always find VBS week to be way more tiring than it ought to be. Have fun!

Colleen -- What kind of training do you have?

Kate -- I hope you get to go to water aerobics. I took a class years ago; it was fun! I bet it's really a nice workout if you are pregnant -- low impact, etc.

Gin -- Wow! That was an awesome workout.

Jerry -- Kindred KPC spirit -- how are you at the pikes on the ball? I'm getting better, but I feel like I look ridiculous. ;)

Holy cow!! You must have had some energy going on this morning!! I love when I have the time to do an all out WO like that.

Do you have stretch max? That is one I would like to buy @ RT, You must like total body stretching. I really need just a stretch dvd. I admit I have a hadr time with "rest" days.

My pikes on the ball...I can do the half version...I simply don't have the confidence (yet) to do the full version.
 
Yeah, Jerry -- I get real wobbly after a couple. Today I was so sweaty that I literally had to stop the DVD to wipe my ball and my legs off so they wouldn't slip off; I also put a towel under my hands. That workout really is great!
 
Tami....Yep, I have Stretch Max...I enjoy both the segment with and without the ball...there's also a dynaband segment that I didn't care for. It took me years to realize how important stretching is, I had always wondered why it would take me so long to recover from a workout..stretching has greatly reduced that time, and I enjoy it more than yoga!

I have the same problem with a slippery stability ball, I sweat buckets, and always have to towel off before any stability ball segment.
 
I hope the Big A** fans at RT will help with the sweating. :)

ITA with you on stretching; it's so important, and I love Stretch Max so much better than yoga. Yoga sort of gets on my nerves. My DH also doesn't like the one with the band.
 
Thanks, Kristi...I thought I was on an island when it came to not caring so much for yoga...I really, really, wanted to like it, because of it's benefits, but the fact that I just didn't care for it would put me in a worse mood for popping the tape in, thereby negating the effect it was supposed to have!

Very happy with my Stretch Max and Total Body Stretching!
