Good morning everyone!! ME was a toughie last night but I made it through all those leg presses. Today I will be doing Kick,punch and crunch. I have been doing alot of kickboxing this week-no wonder my lats are so sore.Going back to work Talk to you girls later!!

I've been doing a lot of kickboxing too, Lisa! Weird, it's just worked out that way. I did the Cardio Conditioning Premix and Abs from KPC Tuesday, the cardio was a good sweat!! And *kinda* fun!.. Enjoy!

On tap for me today, besides so many THINGS TO GET DONE (neverending), is GS: Legs, and I'm going to do one of the Ab Hits.

Oh, And I ended up ordering TWO Cathe DVDs yesterday: #1. The Termintator (HA!), and #2. Cardio Hits (I've wanted that for a while, for good step cardio, when I need a cardio day). Good morning all!

It's funny -- I've been trying to convince my DH to do something other than the elliptical for his workouts (the man can go pretty hard on it but I'm off the shake your body into different things mentality to lose weight) and I finally last night convinced him to take a serious effort into kickboxing workouts.

I'm up for just a circuit workout and some addons. My boss is coming back to work and since I'm working through the weekend, I'm doing most of my paperwork today at home that I need to get done (including writing recommendation letters that he's to lazy to write for other students). But I'm hopeful that I can clean up the home too. I also have to remember to do the PT exercises throughout the day.

Hey is there a coupon code for TotalFitnessDVDs? I was thinking about buying 4DS.

Hey Everyone! Lisa, I did ME this morning. That is one tough workout. I guess I could say that about many of Cathe's workouts, but boy, that one is tough for me to get through (but without dread factor -- yea!).


totalfitness.com is great -- she ships so fast, too. I wouldn't be surprised if my terminator arrives tomorrow, but I'm sure it'll be here at least by Saturday (if so, I'll probably do one of them Sunday morning before we leave for vacation).

Beth-Where are you going on vacation? I am so jealous!! I am so happy you finally are getting your terminator. I swear that was the hot DVD at the roadtrip.Everyone wanted it and they did not have any left. I felt bad for you cause I know you left your info with them. ME is a hard one with MUCH dread factor, but I felt good after it was done cause I needed a weight workout.

boingo-Cardio hits is a fun tape. I usually do those workouts when I can't make it to my gym classes. Cathe is making some money off that terminator this week!! I think you asked me about ctx dvd's 2 days ago. They are fantastic!! It delivers a good workout under 1 hr and they are tough-esp. Learner Legs.Definitely worth the money!!

Phsewwww!

Just got done with GS: LEGS, but I did the 49 Minute Timesaver. I had to cut back a little, so I can get some things DONE today. I'm so tired of them being on my "to do" list. Doesn't help that I'm a procrastinator too. Ugh! Anyways... I think the 49 Minute version was all inclusive, it did standing weights, ball and band. I guess just skimmed off a couple of reps or something. I swear, at the end, after the outer thigh band work, I can NOT for the life of me, sit up with one leg in front of the other and stretch. OMG... It's PAINFUL!! I added on Ab Hits #7 at the end of the stretch....

Hottie: Good deal on getting DH to change up his workout! Kickboxing is a GREAT all over workout, really. I even feel it in my abs at the end. I'm not sure if this is a forever 10% off code for totalfitnessDVD's or not, but I used: "10off" in the coupon code section for it. Try it! You can NOT beat the deal of that and free shipping! Plus the prices are lower to boot!

Beth: I agree about ME. Whenever I do it, all I can think of is the "endurance" definitely fits the title. The reps go ON and ON and ON. It's a killler! (in a GOOD way!!). Where are you going on vacation again?

Hey Ivy: I posted some recipes over in the recipe section. Tell me what kind of foods you like, I have TONS of recipes on file, and have just about every ethnic variety! LOL!...

It's weird, CTX gets different reviews from different people. I guess, in the end, I will want it eventually. Seems like I won't be entirely happy until I have ALL the Cathe workouts! :eek: There's only ONE Cathe DVD I regret getting and don't really like: Cardio Kicks & Circuit Max. I have only done CK, and really dislike it as a kickbox workout. because, it seems more Hi/Lo to me, and I'm sooo not a fan of Hi/Lo. My LEAST favorite cardio to do.

NOW I'm going...!!!!

Too funny about the Terminator DVD! Maybe we should have a week where we all do one workout from it every other day? Since I think everyone here has it or will soon! That would be fun.

Chris, are you getting all those things done now?! ;) That's funny about having all the Cathe DVDs. I think I might own them all except for a couple of the earlier step tapes. I do have the Cardio Hits one - I think it has PowerMax, StepWorks and something else?

Lisa (and Chris), I really do like the CTX workouts. Although the cardio is all pretty high impact and gets to my knees if I do it too long. Leaner Legs is a killer and the upper body weights are great. I did a rotation a couple years ago where I did one cardio and two upper sections a day. It was fun.

Beth and Lisa, good job on ME!! The reps are endless. The biceps are so tough - I know it's almost over when Cathe laughs her evil laugh! :)

Hottie, yes, get 4DS! You'll love it! I'm such the enabler, aren't I?

Well, I'm a bit sad. I wound up canceling STS. Boo hoo. I really debated about it, but financially we're just not in a good place right now and there are some things the kids want to do, so I figured I'd cancel now and get the money back. I can always order them later on.

Today's workout was 4DS double cardio - LIS and HIS. What a fun workout!! I finally got that last combo in HIS. It's really hard to get it since your back is to the TV while she's teaching it.

We're going to Mendocino on vacation -- that's pretty far north in California right on the coast. It's beautiful there. We just relax, canoe, sit on the beach.

Yes, the biceps in ME just kill me! And, she saves the shoulder work for last and I'm always so spent by then.

Hi everyone. I'm checking in later than usual. I did get up early this morning to see my oldest son off to CT. He will be gone a couple of days with is uncle. Then I sent my middle son off to hockey camp. He is absolutely loving it. It is his first time doing camp. Monday when he came home his legs were so sore that he was walking funny. They have ice time and land training.

I went to weight watchers this morning for my weigh in. The scale was nice to me but not what I was expecting to see. I maintained this week.:eek: I know that is a good thing but I really wanted to be down another pound:mad:. I will just work harder this week. Change some things up and add a little more activity.

I did 4DS HIS. I had trouble with the last step segment. I felt like I had two left feet. The weight part goes by really fast. I think it is a good work out for when you are short on time.

Ok everyone has me thinking I should get the terminator and ME. I want to be able to do the terminator with you all too.;):D

Beth I am happy that you asked Cedie, Jai, if they do Cathe workouts at home. Just the other day I was wondering if they do. especially the ones that are no longer in the workout. The only name I can think of that are no longer in the workouts is Hope.... I think Cedie looks GREAT in the photos that I've seen posted. She looks even smaller than the last RT. What do you think?

Chris we are trying to move to Auburn, MA not to far from where we are but it will say us a lot of time and gas money if we move. Speaking of gas I paid $3.71 for gas today. Its really sad when I get excited about $3.71 a gallon. I just hope it keeps going down.

Never talk to someone from southern California (or I guess Hawaii) about the price of gas. :p I got all excited filling up my tank for under $50 (I drive a compact) because gas was $4.25 this Sunday.
 
Good afternoon everyone! Well, today I had to go school shopping for my daughter. I'm not sure I will workout today since I wanted to get more rest days before my rotation on Monday. I might do something light, like a dance workout dvd or something. Today was my last day eating at Burger King, LOL! I told my husband it was our last day eating there for a LONG time. I told him I want us to choose healthier choices when we eat out. He agreed, so that was good.

Lisa: I love kickboxing! It's so much fun! Yesterday I did kickboxing and my legs are sore, which I really like that.

Chris: LOL!!! Welcome to the Terminator club! You are going to really like it! You got an awesome deal on the DVD! I have CH and it's a lot of fun! The only thing is that I don't like the outdated style, but the step is awesome! I'll go check the recipes you've posted. I like italian, chinese, japanese, well, a lot of kinds, lol. I'm the same way. I need to have all Cathe DVDs, lol. CTX is awesome! I just got it 3 weeks ago, and did everyone workout, except kickboxing and it was so much fun.

Hottie: That's great that you got your DH to do kickboxing workouts. I've been trying to get mines to try Cathe's, but he says it's too much jumping and stuff. I will convince him one day! LOL! At least I got him to do the GS DVDs, but upper body only.

Joanne: That would be great if we all decided to workout to the Terminator :) I haven't ordered STS! I can't afford it right now, but I know ONE day I will get them.

Ivy, which rotation are you starting on Monday? Did you get all your school supplies? I have four kids with huge lists of supplies. I'm not looking forward to searching or paying for all these items! I told my husband we're not eating out anymore either. Just for special occasions or when absolutely necessary. Good luck with your interview.

Lori, maintaining is good. I know, you'd rather see a loss, but weight fluctuates so much day to day (at least mine does). You'll probably have a big loss next week.

Joanne I'm thinking of doing the Butts and Guts rotation, but yesterday I saw the Lower Body Solution rotation and that was looks so good! Now I don't know which one to do, if B&G, or Lower Body solution. I need to think of that soon, cause Monday is around the corner. I didn't finish buying all school supplies yet, we just got her some clothes, and on Sunday we are going to Walmart since they are having a sale on school supplies and I heard here in FL it will be tax free days from 8/2-8/11 I think. Thanks! The interview went great! I will work only 2 days a week from 9am-12pm and my son (almost 2) will be able to be there with me since it's a daycare (Mother's Morning Out) work. I'm so excited! :)
 
Ivy, what's the Butts & Guts rotation? I think I did the lower body solution one awhile ago. I remember it vaguely. It was Aug. 07 or something close to that? Glad to hear the interview went well.

Hello all!

Well, I never finished BodyMax last night so today I did Cardio Coach Vol 6 and then I did the UB weight work from BM. I had to go low on weights and my arms were still shaking! My baby sitter was here when I worked out so I had no interruptions! Woo Hoo!

Alright, you all have me thinking I should order the Terminator. It is one of the few I don't have. I seem not to have any compilation DVD's except HCE.

Lisa, I love KPC. That is one good sweaty workout! I hope that you enjoy it!

Ivy, sounds like a great job for you! What movies are you watching tonight?

Hottie, do you always do circuits? What kind of results do you get with that? Also, we were in Hawaii in November and the gas prices were (surprisingly!) not much different than what we pay in Ohio. Maybe a few cents more. That was before the major price increase, though. So it could be different now. And we are down to $3.43! I feel like I'm stealing gas!:rolleyes:

Joanne, I'm sorry to hear that you had to cancel STS. I have been on the fence about ordering it, but the price is holding me back. It sounds great, I just don't want to spend that much money right now. Good job on HIS/LIS combo. That is a ton of fun!
