Becca LOL!! I can't believe all the ladies we are getting to buy the Terminator! It's awesome because it has a mix of Bootcamp, CW, Imax2, and some other I think, but it's awesome. I'm going to watch Shutter and maybe also Meet the browns. It all depends if we are too tired to watch both, lol.

Hey Girls!...

Relaxing a bit after supper on the computer.

I got "enough" of my "to do" list done. I've been super stressing this week, because my son with Type 1 Diabetes (he's 12) is going to day camp next week for the first time since he was diagnosed (3 years ago). It's a HIGHLY physical/active kind of camp, and I'm so very anxious about his blood sugars and what they're going to do. And they have counselors trained in First Aid, but not any medical personel there. I'm freaking, to put it mildly!!

Hottie: YES! So glad you dove in and got 4DS! YOu are going to LOVE it. There's SO much you can do with it, and the weight work is so effective! I love it!

Ivy: I can just post the recipes I have , a few a day, and you can pick the ones you like. It sounds like you're flexible! :) It sounds like you have a cool part time job there too! Hope you get it!

Lori: I have to agree, that our weight fluctuates EVERY day (I know you know that!) , I wouldn't go by that one weigh in. I bet the scale will drop BIG time next week at your meeting!!

Becca: Congrats on getting your workout in with a sitter today! Sounds like you got in everything just the same by doing the Upper Body weights of BM today!!

I better go chase my boys into the shower... I want to be "available" to watch "Big Brother 10" at 8pm tonight!!! :p

Evening ladies

Hey everyone,
Sounds like everyone had a great day with working out. I'm posting to be accountable to my workouts as I feel a negative spiral creeping up (i.e. prioritizing everything else over exercising, which ultimately makes things feel even more stressful), especially with the added stress of deadlines. I am transitioning to a new rotation on Monday, and I am technically on recovery mode but still want to remain consistent. You ladies don't know how much I've really enjoy reading your posts today. I will be doing kick boxing from 4DS this evening....short but intense. Have a great evenign

Becca, I had this large response and then the site farted on me. I shall try again..

I've been doing mostly circuits lately because I was told to stop heavy lifting by my doctor until they properly diagnosed my shoulder issues. I had to show them which workouts I did and what weight and ask them if its ok. It's not that much so its easier to do them in CT where I can burn so many calories even while lifting.

You probably know this but HRMs are fantastic for CT. When you do normal weight lifting training, you can't use HRMS really. They give a false positive essentially when calculating calories saying you've burned more than you really have. (Its because your HR will jump while you lifting very heavily but all the blood is rushing to one place...its not the same as doing step.) So, I have a F11 and I have an alarm set if my HR drops too low when I'm lifting weights whether its a DVD or at the school gym. So, I can keep my metabolism up the whole time.

And I've definitely seen great results. Its not really for bulking up but I've seen inches melt off and frankly I feel better.

And yes, at $3.43 you are stealing. GAH!!! :p
