Vilma: Feel bettr!! Hope the days gets brighter for ya. Maybe that workout will put you in a better mood!

Today's workout is going to be Body max 2. Tomorrow we leave for our vacation. I will be back late Friday night. So, Wednesday I am going to workout at the FIRM studios in SC and Thursday I may try and get in some cardio at the hotel. That is if I am not too sore. I heard the live classes were pretty tough. (unlike the videos)

Beth: My friend and I have been saying that constantly in the last month how great it is to have each other to help out. Boarding at the kennel can get very expensive..That and I know he is in good hands with her and he gets attention there he wouldn't get at the kennel..
 
Thanks Kathy I just finished a bit ago with my CC mish mosh and I'm feeling a bit better still 'eh' but better.

I still have B&G to do and will be setting up for that soon.

Goodness when I was a 'Firmie' I almost drove the 3 hours to visit that studio but dh was always deployed to the desert so I never had anyone to watch my kids. :/ Have fun.
The weather in NC is a bit overcast as we had some much needed rain here but by the coast it should be lovely.
 
Chris, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's loss. You really do get to know people online.

Kathy, hope you have a wonderful vacation. Wow, the Firm studio?? How cool! We want a full report. ;)

Vilma, I was really cranky this morning, too. I felt bad cause I was a bit harsh on the kids. CC and B&G is quite ambitious!

Hi Beth and Deb!!

I did Body Max 2 cardio yesterday. I swear, that kills me everytime! I couldn't even do the abs I was supposed to do. I did them this morning instead along with 4DS Chest, Triceps and Shoulders. I was going to take my dog for a nice long walk, but it's thundering right now. :-( Maybe later.

Tomorrow is Leg Max :eek: . 4DS Legs and S&H Legs.

Good morning everyone! I just finished MIS and I'm shaking all over!

Vilma, you have a lot going on this summer -- stressful stuff, I mean. DD graduated, getting ready for the move is huge. I'm not sure how to tell you to try to make it less stressful, but just keep it in mind and try to slow down and take deep breaths every once in a while.

Kathy, I'm going to try to get in strength stuff today/Tues/Wed morning, and then we leave for our vacation and I figure I'll do cardio (if anything!) while I'm gone -- like you. Except I don't get to go to the firm! :)

Joanne, I've been harsh with my kids lately, too. I hate it when I do that. I'm not always the best role model for controlling one's temper!! :)

Checking in today with Body Max 2 done..I was really glad I was done. I was pooped out..Now, I have got to drag myself outside to cut the grass. Hubby did the front this morning. So, I only have the back to do..Shouldn't take long.
 
My mood has improved steadily throughout the day and I completed Butts & Guts also, so I'm happy about that.... got my cardio and weights done today.


Beth: Yes we have been stressing over getting this house slowly ready to put on the market but dh & I have decided that we are not going to kill ourselves over it - things will progress as much as we can do it.

With dh only really having just one day off of work the items only he can do will be done at his pace. Me I'm still a bit peeved that my teenagers are not wanting to do anything as far as clearing up some of the stuff they don't want to get rid of, plus my son keeps saying he will move in with a friend (Ha As if!) so he can graduate from his HS (he still has two yrs to go). Our oldest DD is quiet and plans to take her college courses and says if she needs to she'll do some online classes.

Really we need to move closer to dh's work but it seems it will not be the time frame we had initially planned on :/

It's so much easier to move when the kids are younger because when they get at this age older teens they can really hamper progress x(
 
Hi Everyone!

I somehow managed to get in 4 Day Split: LIS Circuit Premix. (70 minutes!). I've been working on making arrangements to go to Dylan's calling hours tomorrow. They live in NY, about 2 hours away, So it's do-able. And I just really want to see his mom and family. A few of the other moms are going too. Thanks for the sympathy. I know you guys know, if you have kids, it's just that thing that should never EVER happen EVER!!

Anyways, I did my workout, even though it was late, and we had to push back dinner. HA! Workout comes first!! LOL!! I totally enjoyed it, as much as the HIS Circuit from last week. the only "thing" is , I'm kind of getting tired of doing the same strength moves (even though they've been good at giving me DOMS). The rest of the week gets different: weight work is from B&G, and GS. So that's good!

Vilma: Sorry you're feeling out of sorts. You do have a lot going on, and lots of pressure there. Add in a few hormones, and oh my. I'd be crazed as well. My DH only has 1 night off with me a week, so we have one night and then one day to get anything done together, or with each of us watching the kids. And it's tough, it's stressful, and I always feel like everything falls on ME the rest of the week. Ugh! (((hugs))).... Your workouts today were KICKBUTT though!!

Kathy: Enjoy vacation!!! I've rarely done any FIRM workouts, but if I had the chance to do something live like that, i would in a heartbeat!

Good workouts to you too, Joanne! I never got to do BM2 cardio last week (because I started a day late and did Turbo Jam cardio on Monday, instead). I felt like I missed out!

Beth: good plan for Working out this week. I remember one rotation we had that did all weights first and then all cardio. it was cool! kind of what you'll be doing!

Okay, going to go sit outside with my tea for a few minutes, before the finale of "The Bachelorette" starts!! (I'm so excited! LOL!0

That's exactly how I feel, but then again I've become used to it through the years not by choice mind you as when dh was still active duty he was always deployed for months at a time or working 12 hour shifts esp after Sept 11

I joke around saying I'm a single married mom. Since he's retired I have him home but sleeping lol when he's not at work. Tis life

Oh and my workouts today .... I needed them and I'm back to normal thank goodness :p I may be a bit sore but I'd rather be sore than acting grumpy.
