Jogglers Sept. 2011

I think I might take a yoga day. Its been a long hard week and I'm tired. It was 102 yesterday. Its funny, but during spring I was looking forward to summer and now that I have summer I'm looking forward to fall. .. will I ever be happy where I am?:p

Hi ladies! I'm behind again, as usual!

Jane and Alisha - You two are awesomely consistent and I need to rub your heads or something to catch some of that!

I changed my rotation to one with no premises as someone suggested. I'm doing Cathe's Sept. 2011 rotation. Did BM2 on Day 1, missed Day 2 yesterday - that was supposed to be 40/20 and a 20 minute run, but did original BM today and we have our first Fit Club tonight. I REALLY hope someone shows up, even if it's only one person! I'm miffed at my co-workers who refuse to even just support me by showing up! I really wish they would go after something they wanted so I could just blow them off! I know that's childish, but I really don't care.

Anyway. Tomorrow we're setting up at the Ironman event down at Narragansett Beach. Hopefully, I can sign some customers and maybe even a new coach! I really would like to make this my job and get rid of the 9-5! Wish me luck ladies!

I'll probably be there all day, so no workout for me tomorrow. Monday's a rest day, so I'll do it then because it's KPC and I absolutely love that workout!

Have a great day today!

I'm taking another rest day. My feet hurt for no reason at all. The bottoms of my feet just feel tender. Go figure. Anywhoo, here is my planned rotation for the next week:

Sunday: Rest
Monday: Road work, Shiva Rae Yoga (25 min.)
Tuesday: Cathe: Step Moves; Shiva Rae Yoga (45 min.)
Wednesday:Road work, Desi Yoga
Thursday: Cathe: Low Max; Gary Bromley Yoga
Friday: Road work, Stretch Max
Saturday: Rest

Tricia- I hope you get to do that instead of your normal day job. It would be sooo cool!!

Jane- I bet you are doing a really good workout today!

Alisha - Cool workout week! I hope you figure out why your feet are so tender! Thanks Alisha! Me, too!

Jane - Hi there!

Spent all day at the half Ironman down at Narragansett Beach trying to promote my Beachbody business with another coach. Met some great people and connected with a race coordinator who took my business card. He's going to let me know their race schedule for next season! We'll have lots more places to promote!

Neither of you would be interested in becoming a coach would you? :p
Our team is awesome and starting some great things! I'm really looking to make Emerald by Christmas, if not sooner, and I'd love to see Diamond by next summer! Then, I'll work on just increasing my income so I can quit my day job! Simple plan, now to implement!

No workout today due to the Ironman. Tomorrow is supposed to be a scheduled rest day, but because of not getting my KPC in today, I'm going to do it tomorrow and keep going. I have another scheduled rest day on Thursday, so that should work beautifully!

Have a great night you two! I can't believe tomorrow is Monday again already!

This morning I ran 11 miles. I actually felt really good. It was cool but a tad humid.

Alisha ~ I hope your feet feel better. I'm are a little sore about that run today. The heat is coming back here this week. We will be in the 90's but it is less humid at least.

Tricia ~ It sounds like you had a great and successful time at the Ironman event. That would be so cool if you could do it full time. I was in the midst of studying for my PT cert but then dad got bad and it all went out the window. Of course I was offered a job with the boot camp place (where I was going at the time) but it was a blessing in disguise because I wouldn't want to work for them.

This weekend just flew by. Hope you guys have a great night!

I'm going for a hike in about 10 minutes. Its in the 80s today and we expect thunder storms, but we shall see if they come. We had thunder and lightening on Friday and it slayed a great big oak tree. :(

Tricia- I'm not fit enough to be a coach:eek:

Jane-That looks like a tough workout!

Alisha

Hey you guys!

Here's my workout for tonight.

3 Rounds= 20 sec work/ 20 sec rest
H2H Swings
Back Rows R/L
Figure 8′s
3 Rounds= 20 sec work/ 20 sec rest
Renegade Rows
Swings
Clean & Press R/L
3 Rounds= 20 sec work/ 20 sec rest
KB Front Squat
1 Arm Swing R/L
Russian Twist

Alisha - How was the hike? I hate when big oak trees go down. So sad. My town has a oak tree that is 329 years old. It's really an amazing and beautiful tree.

Hi Tricia, hope your day is going well.

Hi you two!

Alisha - How was your hike? Are your feet feeling better? I sure hope so! Just so you know, being a Beachbody Coach isn't about looking like a fitness model. It's real people on the journey with their customers! The majority of coaches are still working on their weight loss which inspires others to work hard.

Jane - Some awesome workouts from you this weekend! Tonight's looked like a real bugger! Have you ever considered going back to getting your certification?

I managed to get my workout done tonight. KPC was on the agenda for yesterday, so I did it tonight since I didn't have time and was too exhausted yesterday. It was awesome! I changed and fed the kiddos right after and got started on the day's dishes. Stephen got home and was asking about dinner. I got a little bit aggravated. Told him I hadn't even sat down yet today - that was at 7 pm. Luckily, I had some spaghetti sauce left over! He had that and I started cutting up my fruit for my salad. I ate at around 8 pm. It was really good! I used a new recipe out of my Going Raw book. That thing has some amazing salad recipes so far!

Anyway, I'll see you two tomorrow!

Tricia- My hike was awesome, I saw a hawk. She was flying low.

Jane-329 is amazing for an oak!

I'm planning on Step Moves midmorning, 11 ish. I'm also thinking about an evening dose of Jillian Micheals yoga. I got from netflix and I don't really know what to expect.

I'm taking a rest day! YAY!!!

Alisha ~ Glad you had a great hike. Hawks are beautiful. I see them around here in the winter. One year we had 2 of them that were in our backyard daily for the whole winter.

Have fun with Jillian. She doesn't seem like the yoga type to me but I'm sure she's different in the video.

Tricia ~ I'm happy you got your workout in last night. I workout after work and usually don't finish eating until close to 8pm but dinner is my lightest meal of the day.

I think about a PT certificate often but I don't feel really focused right now. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things after the 2 years of dealing with dad and mom. I was studying for NSCA but if I did study again, I would go with NASM. I wouldn't want to work in a gym though. I would rather do one-on-one boot camp focused workouts.

Well...back to the grind. Have a great day!!

I will do that Jillian disc today. I was going to do a hike but my toes are all blistery. ouchie. Tomorrow will be LM. I love that one.:)

Jane- Oo, I bet that hawks against snow would make a great picture. yeah, Jillian didn't seem like the yoga type to me either, but hey with my netflix, I will try just about anything once because I don't have to keep it. I only buy discs if I really want to live with them, I have a very small room to live in.

Tricia- I am feeling a bit better. I don't know what the issue with my insides has been but I'm taking some Triphala and I do feel somewhat better. I like KPC but I think thats the other workout everybody else has and I just haven't gotten around to adding to my collection. I used to do it from the short clips on FitTV. I sure miss fitTV.:( That Going Raw book sounds super tasty, I love salads.

Alisha

Good Morning,

I forgot to check in yesterday. I did my leg workout - 9 rounds - 10 reps each w/40# barbell of: back squats, zercher squats, thrusters and sumos for a total of 360 reps.

Tonight will be a 4 mile run.

Alisha - Unfortunately we have the hawk but no snow. We don't see snow here. I hope your toes are feeling better today.

Hi Tricia!

Jane- That looks like a great workout.

I am going to the park to joggle/walk-le rather than LM. I will do LM tomorrow. Its going to be nice and toasty in the 90s today. I bet that summer sticks around till almost Christmas. I wonder if we will get snow this year.

Hi Tricia!

Alisha

Ok...here is the deal...no run tonight. When I took the mail out, I tripped over something on the sidewalk (that was covered in leaves) and dropped like a sack of dirt. I twisted my ankle and skinned my knees. My ankle is a tad swollen but it doesn't really hurt to walk on it. I've had it elevated with ice on it most of the day and it hasn't gotten any worst. My knee was quite bloody (thank goodness for the first aid kit) so no run tonight. :(

I was looking at my knee last night because I have fell on it a couple of times and there is permanent scar tissue there. It looks like I just added some more damage.

Alisha - We are still in the 90's.

Hi ladies!

Wow! This week has gone by fast! I didn't realize I hadn't checked in almost all week!

Alisha - I'm glad you're on the mend! Hope you had a nice joggle yesterday!

Jane - How are you mending? I hope you'll be fine for the weekend!

I have done horribly this week. :(

Everything has to to hell in a handbasket. All good intentions . . .
I need a psycoanalyst or something.

Have a terrific weekend ladies!

tired, I has one.

Tricia- You can have a pyscho analyst or you could have us, I think we are much nicer;) Is it possible that you are just to physically worn out to do the workouts? Do they just seem too daunting? Or are you not eating enough fat or carbs? If I don't eat enough of those I get tired and I just don't want to workout.

Jane-I hope you feel better soon, I'm so sorry about your knee/ankle. That sounds painful and whats worse it gets in the way of your running plans.:(

I did not workout this morning. I went to this tradeshow all day instead. It was like CineGear only a little different in that there were industry executives from the music industry in addition to the film industry. I listened to a couple of panels about songwriting, 2D vs. 3D cameras (I hate 3D, its still too new.) and other aspects of the film industry. I got to listen to one of the camera operators on the show called "Deadliest Catch." A camera operator is the person who actually moves the camera itself vs. a director of photography or cinematographer who is responsible for making the decisions about which camera to use and what shots to get. I'm a camera operator who works solely in digital video on construction sites, I'm not at the level of these guys <points to the fancy shmancy dudes on stage.> One lady said that cameras are like jewlery and I said, well like it only cameras are a lot more expensive. That got a laugh.

I anticipate going back again tomorrow. I just don't see the time to workout because I have to drive all the way over to Loomis from Rescue. Its about an hour and I just get tired. I guess my next planned workout will be Sunday.

I made a post about the weird thing going on in my audio club in the open discussion forum. I won't repost, it would be redundant.

Alisha

I did go for a long hike (500 cal.) on Sunday morning. Today will be some yoga before bed. I will be in town for Assertiveness Training all day.

I started the morning with a weigh in :)() and then some oatmeal :) I know I am retaining water from eating out over the weekend:eek: I need to program myself to take enough food for long days away from home and not to eat commercial.

I see you gals have been busy too, Happy Monday!!

Alisha

Hi!

I took it easy all weekend. I spent most of Saturday all day on the couch which can be a good thing or a bad thing. I basically read, watched some bad tv, took a nap and watched a movie. I spent most of Sundaywith mom.

On Saturday I did a sitting upper body workout with some ab workout.

My ankle is much better. Swelling is gone and pain is just about gone. It's aches from time to time but actually feels better when I walk around and do things. So I'm doing a workout tonight but will be tenative and not push myself. I will try a little jogging and see how it feels. Then will ice is afterwards.

Alisha ~ I saw that post regarding your audio club incident. Did anything come of it? How strange but I'm sure all will be fine.

Good job on the hike. It always helps me when I pack food otherwise I just go at it with bad food. I'm constantly have to change up my eating. I feel fat but I think it menopause.

Hi Tricia!

Hi ladies!

Alisha - I'll have to go check out your audio club post! I don't go to any of the other forums any more. As to my analysis, I'm not tired. I take my maca powder every day and I have plenty of energy. I think I"m just bored! Believe it or not. I keep changing plans, programs, etc., then I don't work out for several days, then have a good day and feel great, etc.

The trade show sounds like fun! Boston is having a Vegetarian Food Festival at the end of October. I'm looking forward to going!

Jane - How is the ankle doing? Hope you're able to get back on track with running and full kettlebell workouts again!

I made it through Gym Style Back, Shoulders and Biceps tonight. Barely. I've had to back off my weights a lot. Oh, well, guess I'll build my strength back up again over time. 3 more weeks and I'll go to my kettlebell/running routine. I'm collecting AOS and Punch Gym training videos on kb moves. I'll be ready!

Let's see if I can do 2 days in a row! Come on you two! Check in on me! Make sure I'm not bumming and sitting on my bum tomorrow! It's leg day and I hate legs!

Hi ladies!

I did IMAX3 today! That was tough! I think I had only done that one once before. Tomorrow is Gym Style Legs. I hate legs. We'll see how that goes . . .

Hope you two have had a great day!
