The procedure did go well. Aunty had an eblation. Its minimally invasive and she seems to have done really well. We were able to bring her home today.
Last night, at exactly 12:04 am, I received a prank call on my cel phone. A crazy woman shrieked into the phone about a pizza. I continued to receive calls for several minutes, turned my phone off. My mother and I were sharing a hotel room in Redwood City, CA. Needless to say, she heard everything. Anywhooo, fast forward to today at noon, and again, with the crank call. This time I had more witnesses. I told the cranker that if they didn't stop calling I was going to call the police. I will call AT&T to get this blocked tomorrow. In the meantime, my phone is turned off. I'm worn out. Tired. And irritable.
Bleh.
On another note: Aunty is quite well. Its sunny, warm, and going to be in the 60s.
I did pretty good with my workouts over the weekend. I took my workout clothes and used the cardio equipment in the Holiday Inn Express workout room. I had a lot of fun on the elliptical, but my toes went numb after about 20 minutes. I burned over 400 calories on each day and put in about 50 minutes on each day.
The eats were good. We had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen on Thursday, I had the salmon with just veggies and a couple oven toasted rolls. I skipped dessert. On Friday morning, I had the free breakfast at the hotel, but I was watching myself, I kept to the hard boiled eggs, fresh juice (cranberry), and an orange. All day Friday was spent at the hospital. We had a late lunch at 'The Godfather' which is a burger joint. I had the salmon burger, only ate 1/2 the bun, and some onion rings. Dinner was a salad at Fresh Choice, I was good, I had the caesar, kale, some black beans, non fat italian dressing, and less than 1/2 a c. of non fat yogurt. I did have one small piece of Squaw bread and a tiny piece of pumpkin bread (225 cal.). Today, breakfast was my own home made egg whites, a bagel, cream cheese. Lunch was at the Black Bear Diner, I had about 7 oz. of steak, a small cup of chicken gumbo (soooo good!!!!), and 1 scoop of the huckleberry ice cream (just 130 cal.!). It was really good. Anywhoo, I'm glad to be home, and now I can get back to losing weight, eating my own noms, and relax.
Tricia- your Stephen is a really nice guy, to come back like that. The lemon tart was
very popular! Its a good thing, because I don't want to keep around the house, I might have eaten it!
Jane- My Mom had one of those gift card thingys, we had a limit of 5$. The best one was 5$ for See's Candy.
I'm leaning towards a Cathe for tomorrow. But, I
might take a rest.
I am so glad to be home. Yeah, I know, I said that already. But, really, I am.
