LAST EDITED ON Feb-18-02 AT 02:15PM (Est)[p]I recommend gap classic jeans. For me, these are the only jeans in the world that fit right. Also, the size and placement of the seat pockets is just right for a flattering look. As an example, with eddie bauer jeans (sorry if you love them) the pockets are too small and too high, making people's "assets" look bigger and lower. With levis, the pockets are sometimes placed too far out to the sides, making your rear end look wider. I know these brands look great on a lot of people, but not on me when I have wide hips already.
I'm the type of pear where my hips flare out to the sides. I mean FLARE. And my seat is more flat. My legs are slender. I just have those cursed hips! Slow and heavy has pulled in the sides and lifted my rear end up and out, but the overall picture is still...pear. I'm 5'3, 118lbs, size 6 in jeans. So it's not like I'm packing a lot of lard, I just keep it all in one place.
These jeans aren't probably right for every pear but if you're
looking, try them. I get compliments all the time, and look 10lbs lighter in them than other jeans.
