January Rotation - Jan 12

Good morning Rotationers!!

MM is now my favorite total body w/o. I did it for the first time yesterday and love it! The run wasn't bad, actually did the legs good.

Today is LowMax and 6-10 intervals of IMAX2:eek: LowMax by itself is bad enough but IMAX2!! I believe this one will be as bad as it looks on paper!! This w/o reminds me of HCX#2 that alternates LowMax intervals with IMAX3 intervals. I have this planned for Monday's HCX w/o so I'll hit all three of the w/o's with this rotation.

Have a good one!

Morning Jane and all to follow. It really wasnt that bad! It took exactly 90 mins. IMAX is not a problem for me when I know it's only 5 intervals - makes is very finite. I burned 333 cal and that's alot for me. I never register very high on the HR monitor. So, enjoy it! Phyllis

Hi Jane & Phyllis, and Good Morning to All who follow,

I did what was on the rotation with a modification. I did LM cardio only, then 6-10 intervals of Imax2 , and added on Total Body stretching with SB#1 !

I was up early, so did the workout at 4am and it feels great to be done for the day!!!! :D

Have a great day everyone!!

Good modification Becky. I'm glad you are feeling stronger every day. It's really good to have you back!! Have a good day!

Good Day Brave Women!
I am scheduled to start Low Max & IMAX 2 1/2 only at 7:30 this morning. Phillis It is good to read that you have done it . You are apparently the 'guinea pig' this morning. Thanks!
My DOMS are slightly better. Doing extra walking on my errands yesterday may have helped work out some of the stiffness.
i have new Rykas to try today. I will try the wrokouts as produced with extra stretching of my heels and calves every few intervals.

Good morning,
I did Lowmax this morning, not enough time for Imax2. I did a Spinerval yesterday after work so don't need any more interval work. Will try to do an easy spin outside on my bike after a shortened workday due to dentist appointment.

Jane, glad you liked MM. I like it a lot too. You ladies are all very motivating for me.

Jeanette

Good morning all,

I have this thing about doing workouts too often. I just did Lowmax last week, so that was out. I also don't have 90 minutes, and I am really getting over doing "step". So, I rebelled.

I did Christi's Still Jumpin and Coremax 2. I had FUN!

Alright, you may all excommunicate me from the check in now, I know I have pushed the button too far this time!:)

I don't have LM so I am doing Rythmic Step ( cuz I love it!) and the last 1/2 of IMAX 2. I don't mind the last part of #2 as much as the first. I hate interval 5!! When I get past that I always feel the rest of the workout is easier. That 5 is a killer for me! I am a little sore from strength yesterday but better than I was before! HAve a great day ladies- Susan

On paper, the Low Max/IMAX combo looked pretty benign to me. However, the MM/interval run combo yesterday gave me a little residual quad DOMS today. By the time I got to the Sumo interval on IMAX2 today my legs were on fire! I did finish the whole thing though. I'm afraid to look at what's in store for us tomorrow!

Conni, I agree with you on repetition. I think in the last week and a half I've seen enough of IMAX3 and Low Max. I really like Christi Taylor too. Her cardio is so fun, well once you get the choreography down. I just purchased an 18 DVD lot of exercise videos from eBay and there's at least 4 Christi Taylors in the lot. That will keep me busy for a while.

I survived today's prescribed LM/IMAX2 6-10. Thank goodness for this forum to understand this accomplishment! Who else would understand?

To help myself from getting too stiff I did extra heel and hamstring stretching during the recovery phases of about every other cycle or sometimes every cycle.

later friends...

LowMax always has a high dread factor for me, and to add Imax intervals? yowie! I guess there is no rest for the wicked though. I ate a cinnamon roll for breakfast!

Finished!! and I'm in a puddle of sweat! Interval 9 really got me on IMAX2. I could have screamed during the plie jacks if I thought is would help!! This is definitely having a cumulative effect on the legs!

Off to crawl to the barn to feed the horses and crawl back to feed myself. Good thing my arms aren't fried, I'm going to need them to get around!!!
