Jane's Grandson is here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jane (luvtorun) just called me and her grandson arrived this morning at 8:20. He is Joesph Lee and is 6 pounds 15 ounces! She said he is absolutely beautiful !!!

Poor Jane has been at the hospital since dinnertime yesterday with no sleep. Now they are at another hospital......her FIL is having surgery right now . She apologized for taking so long to let us know but GEESHHHHHHHH You are forgiven Jane!!!! You are a LITTLE busy today!!!!



After her FIL is out of surgery, they are heading back to see the baby and hold him for the first time!!!

She said when they did little Joesph's footprints, they also put them on Jane's son's shirt, right over his heart! !!!! Then told him to put wax paper over it and iron it and it won't wash out.
I've never heard of that, but think it's a great thing to do!!

Congratulations Jane! I am so happy for you and your family!

Thank you so much everyone!!! I am so in love!! Being a grandma for the first time IS right up there with motherhood (without all the work!!) I am sooo very tired. Haven't slept since I woke up Monday morning but plan on crashing very soon.

I uploaded a few pics on my picturetrail and will try to post one here. I fight with picturetrail on a good day! I kept uploading them to the wrong album! I think I've got it right now.

ETA - My FIL's surgery went very well.... longer than expected but is doing fine.
