Jan. '06 sub. questions

I just started the Jan. '06 rotation. I wanted to start it last month with everyone else, but came down with some crazy cold junk.

I'm looking over the list and found subs for most of the dvds that I don't have. However, there are still some I'm not sure on.

Week One:
2nd day: For CTX (cardio only)- sub K,P,C (Is this a good sub?)
3rd day: For 1st 5 intervals of Inter. Max- sub ?? (no clue)
3rd day: For 2nd 1/2 of MIC- sub ???
6th day: For Hardcore EXTREME- sub ???

Most of my Cathe workouts are on VHS tapes, so doing part of one, part of another, part of another.... doesn't appeal to me much. I really want to sub just one tape (or 2) that would fit with what I don't have. I'm not looking for a perfect match, just something that stresses he same areas. I can also add some gym work or runs in there if necessary.

BTW, I have Imax 3, the Gym Style bundle, and Pure Stength on DVD, but those are mostly weight-focused.

Thanks for all of your help. My body will thank you in about 4 weeks
:)

CTX cardio only are 30 min. workouts so just pick a cardio for 30 min. maybe even just treadmill.

why not sub imax 3 first 5 intervals for inter. max

not sure what to recommend for the others maybe others will chime in:) good luck

edited to say: just looked at the rotation and KPC should be okay to sub but not the whole thing, maybe just do the cardio and not the drills.

Deanie- Thanks for your input. I wonder if I should post this in the rotation section.

I have Step Blast, Imax 2 and 3, KPC, Cardio and Weights, Rhythmic Step, Low Max, and Boot Camp that are cardio-focused, if that helps.

The second half of MIC is step, so I would sub 40 minutes of SB or RS for that. Hardcore Extreme is a circuit workout, so I would think BC would make a fine substitute.

Good luck!

In that case, the first half of MIC is hi/lo (and frankly, more hi than lo). Nothing that you have has anything exactly comparable, but you could sub with perhaps 15 minutes on the treadmill, plus 10 minutes of jump rope (imaginary or not, depending on your space) and 5 minutes of jumping jacks.
