James Bond movies

I am a huge fan of James Bond movies. They are inventive and creative. My favorite movie of this series is Goldfinger which is followed by a close second by Dr. No. I also have a thing for Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan.

Who is your favorite James Bond and what is your favorite James Bond movie?

I was never really a fan of the franchise at all until . . .

Until . . .

Blond. James Blond. Daniel Craig is the hottest Brit to come down the pike in decades, and I absolutely loved "Casino Royale". They did away with all of the frou-frou and kept the action; Craig as Bond was the meanest leanest Bond I've ever seen. (The scene where he's being tortured, all naked and sweaty . . . *ahem*)

I did regret that they kicked Miss Moneypenny to the curb; it would've been fun to have a new MP bouncing off against Bond. But I love Judi Dench as "M", and I liked "CR" so much that I might just rent it again . . . when I have another Blockbuster freebie coupon.

Sean Connery IS James Bond for me. My favorite is Dr. No! And then any James Bond with Sean is a close second;-) Timothy Dalton would be my second favorite Bond. BTW, its not the "hot" aspect of Bond for me, its the "sexy" aspect, and they don't always go together-(i.e. Mick Jaggar")

Sean Connery is the best Bond. I did like this new guy Daniel Craig, I think he is HOT!

I liked all the Pierce Brosnan Bond films. My personal tastes made those the best for me...but then Casino Royale came out. Despite the opening credits not being as inventive as the ones for The World is Not Enough, Tomorrow Never Dies, and Die Another Day, the movie was outstanding. I wasn't sure I'd like a grittier Bond, but I did and now I am looking forward to the next Bond movie!

My favorite James Bond was Sean Connery until Daniel Craig. :9

I think the reason there is no fru-fru is because Casino Royale is the actual beginning of James Bond. To become a "00" agent he must have two kills. I liked it alot better without all the gadgets because he had to rely on his abilities more...and boy did he have some awesome abilities! ;-)

My favorite bond movie is on her majesty's secret service. This movie showed a loving and caring bond, and george is not that bad.

What a coincidence, DH and I just rented "Casino Royale" last night, and I can honestly say that Daniel Craig is my new favorite Bond. I love that they made him a darker, but more human, character. He became much more interesting.

I haven't seen the latest one yet, but have heard it's very good. My favorite Bond is Pierce. I love the one with Famke Janssen - Goldeneye. But pretty much, any of them are good. Not a big Roger Moore fan. I don't find him in the least bit Bondish.

Sean Connery is forever James Bond for me though!! Any one of them .. loved to hear him say "Miss Moneypenny" .. LOL .. sideways grin ..

Loved Peirce too .. he was more Connery like than the others .. very slick .. very beleivable ..

I did not think I would like Casino Royale .. BUT OMG .. was I ever surprised .. I never thought a blonde Bond would fly ... but it is written extremely creativly .. loved it .. it is one nail biting .. edge of your seat Bond ..

I know I'm responding late, but my old-time favorite bond was Sean Connery, then Pierce Brosnan, now it's definitely Daniel Craig. That was a great flick!
