I dont know if any of you have read her book, this is why your fat but I absolutely recommend this book to those who have had a hard time losing wt and have tried everything. I have been following the plan for 3-4 weeks and finally have lost some wt. For the past 2 1/2 yrs I have not been able to get back in the 120's and yesterday I finally weighed 128 lbs and could not believe it. This is even a day before my period. I had to get on the scale 2x to believe it. I am not having cravings and I am never really hungry hungry. I am finally satisfied and dont feel deprived. I use to think about food all the time and now I am content. for the first time ever I feel as tho I am not on diet and this is something I can do. I am still in disbelief, thinking the next time I get on the scale that it will be what it was before. I have told my mom and friends about this book and if you are like I was you gotta get this book and go for it, you will see results! I am so excited about this and am extremely positive, so far anyway and I had to share with you all since you all had to hear me whine about not being able to lose wt no matter what I did. I keep thinking is this for real, the scale must be messed up, but my son weighed in at the doctors friday and I had him get on the scale and my scale actually weighed him 2 lbs heavier than the doctors scale, dont get me wrong, I am not just excited about losing wt but also about getting my eating under control, this has been my biggest obstacle and finally there is hope for me.!!!! She was interviewed a few months ago on the Dr. Fitness and the Fat Guy podcast. If you can find it on itunes - you can hear more about her point of view. I thought it made a lot of sense.

Congrats on the weight loss! I know that must feel great. :)

Does her book explain why she made commercials for her new show wearing her undies?:D;)

Runfree, thanks for the info. I'm gonna check it out. I've been stuck at about 130 to 133 for ages, so maybe this will help.

Cindi, I've downloaded a few episodes of the podcast you mentioned, including the Jackie Warner one. This looks like a good series. (If anyone needs help finding the right episode, it's #28 -- at least I think so -- haven't listened to it yet.)

she has you eating a carb and protein together always to balance insulin. eating good carbs. This helps with cravings etc... workouts are intervals for cardio only 20 min, wts are circuit routines, 30 min 3x week. The workout seems easy until you actually try it, the cardio anyway and I am a runner.

Jackie Warner Book

I would definitely recommend this! I’m pretty skeptical about weight-loss programs and products, so I gave this a good read though at Borders before buying. On this plan, you eat 5 times every day - 3 meals and 2 snacks. Meals are generally about 400 calories. Snacks are between 100-150 calories. Every day, you choose from 4 proteins, 3 veggies, 3 fruits, 2 grains and 1 serving of fat. You have protein at breakfast, lunch, dinner and with 1 snack with a slow-digesting carb. Whole grains are limited to no more than twice a day. You add veggies to 2 of your meals and 1 snack or to a whey protein shake. You have 1 snack or meal with a clean fat (avocado, nuts or flaxseed oil). Low-fat dairy foods are allowed, but no more than 2 servings a day. No milk. 3 liters of water daily. Here’s something different, you can have two treat meals of no more than 1500 calories on the weekend.
Her workout program has you doing 20 minute intervals, 3 x's per week and 3circuit workouts per week. I’m just getting started and am looking forward to see what happens!

LOL @ "does the book explain why she made the commercial for her new show in her undies!"

I'm guessing it's Cross Branding Laura as she will soon launch "undie training" for gyms across America...
