Hey ladies!

Well, today is the end of an era...it is my last day of work before I go out on maternity leave only I intend to resign from my job for good.

As most of you probably know, my DH and I have agreed that I will be a SAHM until Joey (and his brother or sister to be?) is in school fulltime.

I am very excited about this new part of my life but also pretty scared. It's a HUGE life change in sooo many ways! EEK! :eek: I hope I am a good mom. I hope I do this new "job" of mine well!

Well, I need to jump in the shower now! Have a great friday ladies!

Congratulations!! I hope you have a fabulous day and an exciting beginning to the best time of your life. If your postings are any indication, you will be a wonderful mother and your children will have a great example to follow. I'm so excited for you!

I am voting for a Mother's Day baby...DH says he'll born on the 10th...I have a friend who says May 22nd...another lady says I'll be a week early which would be around the 12th...

Anybody willing to wager a bet on the due date?;-)

YAY!! Enjoy the last two weeks of life as you know it! I have no doubt that you will be a terrific mom!

You are aware, aren't you, that sex is one of the "tricks" to get labour going? Just a suggestion......

I'm not taking bets on specific dates, etc., but I do think you're going to be late (sorry!). I'm willing to bet my life's savings that it's going to be a boy........:)

I hope you at least get cake on your last day!

I know it's not the "norm" for first-timers to deliver early but it's what I wanted! *stomping my feet in a temper tantrum*

yay! Wendy you are about to enter one of the best journey's of your life. don't worry you will be a superb mother to joey and joey's brother and/or sister. even though you won't be working, don't leave us just yet. make sure you keep posting as we are all anxiously awaiting joey's arrival into this world.:)

Sandra-can't believe I almost forgot to respond to this!!! My DH is afraid to have sex now that the baby is in position for delivery. It's like he's afraid Joey will be watching us or something! lol

But have you told him that it's for the greater good of helping get this baby out? Remind him that he has husbandly duties..........;-)

I will have to tell him that! If he is on my side and wants the baby to be ON TIME or even EARLY if at all possible..then he will have to SACRAFICE for the greater good! ;-)
