<--hasn't been posting about it on this thread because didn't want to be a downer but has had some really tough times with DF

<--finally decided that <--didn't like the way the situation was making me feel/act and <--was no longer going to act out of anger or negativity
<--also decided to break off engagement (DF was SHOCKED!)
<--just doesn't feel like we are in a place where we should be engaged
<--felt like a huge weight has been lifted (which should be a MAJOR sign!!!)
<--was not being treated well (nothing abusive just inconsiderate, disrespectful, DF-selfishness) and didn't like it
<--does not think that kind of behavior should be tolerated
<--does not want to be engaged to someone who is acting that way
<--so, broke off engagement
<--xDF wants to come visit this weekend (funny since he hasn't come in 6 weeks!)
<--will see how it feels to see him but am holding <-- ground
<--apologizes for the self-absorption but wanted to let youse all know what was going on

<--feels kinda bad <-- sort of scolded friend for "whining" about issues as a stay at home mom and told her to walk a mile in the shoes of a working mom
<--just wanted her to realize she is doing fine try to see that life isn't really as bad as she thinks
<--is worried that <--hurt her feelings when all <-- wanted to do was in a friendly but blunt way tell to get a grip and as Cher would say "Snap out of it!"
