Shonie -- I love your pictures. They're great!

About that table (with wine rack underneath) and the high chairs -- exactly what I've been looking for. My kitchen is set up very similar to yours, and I've been considering doing the same thing, in exactly the same place. It was cool seeing it in your pics.

I love that. It looks great.

Also, this winter we're building a wall unit with a fireplace in our bedroom, very similar to what you've got. Down the road, we'd also like to add french doors leading outside to a hot tub on the deck (when we get a deck, that is). We built our house four years ago, and are adding goodies as time (and money) provides.

It's been so fun for me to see your pics. Thanks.

WOW -- thank you all for the love on the house pictures! I didn't really think you'd be taking a look at those. I REALLY appreciate the wonderful feedback (makes me think maybe my taste isn't completely terrible).

Of course, those are the pictures of the finished rooms. The rooms upstairs are terrible! My office looks like a tornado hit it -- no desk, papers everywhere, boxes, other mis-matched furniture. Then there's the PINK room -- 'nuff said there.

As for the picture in the workout room (which is from my old house) -- I got it from Art.com and then had it framed. They have a lot of cool stuff there.

Marla (JumpHigher) -- yes, I love the wine rack bistro table too! I'm not much of a cook and rarely sit down at a TABLE to eat ... so anything larger than that would be a waste! Also -- it's a small breakfast area...so I like having the smaller table. I got it at Haverty's (just a furniture store here in DFW) a few years back. Thanks for the compliments! Also -- all the bookshelves and stuff are built-in -- one of the reasons I liked the house so much! Your house sounds GREAT....the french doors leading outside sounds WONDERFUL. Except my back yard is a piece of crap and who wants to go outside when it's 100 degrees? Now ... if I had a pool...
I'd love to see your pictures too! I think we must have similar (good) taste

And...of course, anyone willing to drive/fly to DFW is welcome (okay...almost anyone) but, of course, you will need to call first I can't be having surprise house guests!

Anyway...thanks ladies...I appreciate the feedback. I'll post some of the workout room when I get it all setup.
