I did this for the first time tonight. I was really worried it would be too hard for me but suprisingly enough I got thru it pretty darn good. I even extended the last sprint at the high end for the entire 4 minutes without music . I burned them to cds today and for some reason the last few minutes cut off. but I thought it would be harder than Itrain 21 because it only has 3 sprints and this one had 6. Maybe it was because she gave walking breaks or maybe because I have done 21 2x now and I am seeing a difference in my endurance already! I hope so. for the first time ever I was able to run faster than I ever have been able to on the treadmill. I for only one minute was under a 7minute pace and the last interval that I maintained for 4 minutes was a 7:30 pace. YOWZA!!!! that is good for me. thanks to all who recommended these workouts, I never thought I would enjoy intervals on the treadmill!
 
Great job Laura! Try pairing this one with #19(another 30 minute sprints run).... lots of fun

Laura-ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....13 is one of my ALL TIME FAVES! Like the other ladies suggested, you NEED to do 19 now! I reach for those 2 the MOST these days! Enjoy!

I am gonna get #19 this week. Belinda #21 has only 3 intervals and they are all I think 2 minutes except the last one is longer. but you run at a good pace the entire time even recovery times are at a pretty decent pace. with #13 you get walking breaks and I dont know if this is why I was able to pick it up and maintain without a struggle. I also had 3 days of rest in a row so maybe that is why also. I had a stomach bug and everytime I tried to run it felt like it was coming up so I rested thurs,fri and sat. I cant wait to try #19, is it interval as well ,how many sprints?
 
Laura-19 is sprints, yes! 6 sprints, and the last one you choose your own speed. Try to really REALLY challenge yourself on this one! You will LOVE it!

Well now you've done it...after 7 weeks on the Fit Yummy Mummy program (the 6 small meals, hiit with heavy weights - and only 90 minutes a WEEK - how could my workout weary body resist?) - I gained 4 lbs....no results at all...so I"m back to my normal 45 minutes plus or minus daily stuff....and just for kicks tried an ITRAIN because of YOU ALL, and now Im HOOKED! I hate the treadmill! I'm a Cathe/Jari kind of girl ......now I'm buying another one - for the treadmill and elliptical....who knew? You've found something new for this old dog to beat herself with....and I can afford them too!

ok enablers, I ordered #19 lastnight and will try it this week. I listened to it and it sounds like it will kick my but with that hill sprint in it. cant wait!!
 
Just wondering which itread 21 are you guys talking about ? They have the walk intervals and the run intervals- I'm guessing its the run intervals correct?

Thanks for this thread as I don't have #19 yet (its now in my shopping cart lol) but I absolutely love #13 also :7
 
your welcome, your gonna like it.

vilma- yes 21 is the running workout. It has 3 intervals lasting 2 minutes each except the last one is 4 but she drops you down a little for the last half or you can choose to stay there. You run the entire workout though where as some of these give you walking breaks.

I went ahead and purchased it running intervals before coming back to verify if it was lol - looking forward to using it soon :)
