hate being so obtuse but is this how you read the workout card-- target weight is the actual 60% of my 1rm-- this is what i should be using... then, i write in the actual weight i do, the target weight tells me how many reps i should be able to do, and i write in what i do in actual reps?

Yes that is correct you use what the target weight says. Say it says 13lb and you use 12 then you write 12 in the actual weight and how many reps you were able to do. This will not change your 1 rep max test though.

I am so glad you asked this question and that Barbara answered. I did not know what to do with this card. All the is probably in the book which I have not taken the time to read.

Thanks .
