Is there a dvd using WEIGHTS ONLY

I don't have the room or the budget for steps, exercise balls, etc. But I already have a full sets of free weights. Is there a Cathe DVD which doesn't require steps, balls, or any other special equipment? I'm guessing I could do SOME substitutions, but I'd like to have to do none or the very minimum.
Thanks very much for any/all advice.

Several of Cathe's workouts are weights only--have searched in the Shop Cathe section of the web site? One of the categories is Strength/Toning DVDs.

If you're just getting started I would recommend Supersets/PushPull or Muscle Endurance. SS/PP uses a stability ball in some sections, but you could probably modify those. Muscle Endurance uses a high step for leg presses, but you could use a stool for that.

If you've already been weight training for a while, go for the Gym Style series. The floor portion of the Legs DVD uses a stability ball, but you could just do the standing work and still get a great leg work out. The upper body DVD use a resistance band, but those are very inexpensive and easy to store.

Also, have you been to videofitnesss.com? They have video reviews, which you may find helpful. Good luck!

There are some strength programs that use a barbell and step as a bench but you could modify these to just dumbbells and the floor. Slow & Heavy, the Pure Strength upper body workouts, and Power Hour are good examples.

Muscle Max; Gym Style: Chest & Triceps; and Gym Style: Back, Shoulders & Biceps could also be modified but there is band work that I'm not sure would work without one.

Pyramid Upper Body only requires dumbbells, but the lower body counterpart uses a high step for step ups. I suppose you could substitute lunges if this is desired. The same goes for Muscle Endurance and the lower body workout for Pure Strength.

Supersets & Push Pull require a stability ball. On a couple of exercises, Cathe shows a variation, but for the others (most especially the ones involving core work), some creativity might be required if you would like to use just dumbbells.

I hope this helps some.
