Is Terminator worth it?

I didn't buy this DVD in the preorder, now I wish I had. But, is it worth it? Did anyone buy it who really wishes they hadn't and if so why?

Thanks, Jodi

Well, since it was a preorder and so inexpensive, I don't really regret it. I really like Imax Extreme, the Gauntlet is ok, but not too useful for me and I don't like the Viper. The Viper has tough Imax2 intervals, then I end up getting cold and clammy doing the upper body stuff and totally catching my breath, so I don't like it. I alternate between interval cardio and long cold clammy stretches. I don't feel like anything gets worked out well even though it is so long.

Gauntlet is a good workout if I skip all the upper body so my heart rate stays high.

Imax Extreme is a nice long tough workout which I plan to use for a long time.

So, I'd say I'm "ok" with it, but I wouldn't have wanted to pay full retail for it, wheras the other 3 DVDs are well worth it.

I love it and have gotten every penny out of it!!!! There are so many ways to use these videos.

I agree that if you are not careful your heartrate can come down on viper etc. I use Viper on days I am more focused on wts, and moderate cardio since the heart rate tends to fluctuate so much.

I use Gauntlet in many different ways and LOVE IT! The cardio in gauntlet rocks. Sometimes i will use it just as cardio and skip the wt sections. Others I will do cardio and only upper body or cardio and only lower body! The lower body + cardi works great!

I think it is well worth the money and can't imagine my weeks without at least 1 portion of a terminator video.

My only complaint is I wish it had an ab section on it;(

It is SOSOSOSO worth it.You can do plenty of workouts with it.I haven't felt one bit bad from spending $70 on a D.V.D.I am just so afraid that someone else is going to scratch it when they take it out of the D.V.D player. Trust me.....buy yourself a treat. You won't be disappointed.

I'm with the "Worth It" crowd; in fact I did Gauntlet last night, the one I like the most. I really like the crazy salad of I-Max2, Boot Camp and Cardio Weights, and I use it when I'm in the mood for a mid-range thing both in terms of cardio and weight work. Haven't done Viper or I-Max Extreme yet, but that's on the docket.

I almost always think a Cathe DVD is money well-spent, even if you don't bring it into your program immediately, and the newer DVD's have so many chapter points that even the Terminator DVD can be tailored to your personal preferences!

worth it over here too. I found Imax xtreme to be a really great cardio focused workout. The gauntlet I found very tough, I was totally winded throughout, including during most of the weight segments. I have only done the viper cardio parts, skipping thru the weights, and this was a great 35 or 45 minute workout as well. There are so many options with these ones!

Hi Jodi
I love it.I would be happy with just the terminator dvd.I do all three (different days)and use real heavy weights.I was slightly disapointed in the Intensity series until I did The Terminator. It is long & makes you work. The other programs just didn't seem that challenging. It is well worth it.It makes me work like CM.

Definitely worth it! I'm with FitNut - I use the Gauntlet in many different ways, but I enjoy all 3! I do one of them at least once a week.
