<--says the problem with the desk is that it has become a repository for all things that <-- doesn't know what to do with including instruction manuals for various electric gizmos, co-op board newsletters, souvenirs received from various people, etc.
<--doesn't have enough places to put all that stuff, so it just sits in a pile on the desk, which is in an alcove that <-- and DT never walk into
<--thinks that's what Flylady would call a "hot spot"

<--is probably off to watch Brokeback Mountain which DT refuses to watch with <-- because he doesn't like to see people being persecuted
<--hopes it isn't too depressing
