Is Our World Going to Hell in a Hand Basket?

I just saw a news report on Yahoo of a second person being pushed in front of a subway train in New York. Another report talked about three New Jersey police officers being shot at the police station. A foster child received a teddy bear with a gun hidden inside.

I'm sure there are thousands of other incidents that don't even make national news through the web.

What is up? Has everyone lost their minds?

Yes, some folks have lost their minds. But I'm hoping that for every story that is written about something awful happening, there is an equal and opposite story about something positive happening(even if it isn't written about).

I was just thinking the same thing today and talking about it with my co-workers! It is truly a sad state of affairs. I still believe that there are more good people than bad people in our world today.

Bad things happen all the time, but good things often happen as a result of the bad things. Like the people who have chosen to do 26 random acts of kindness to honor the teachers and children killed 2 weeks ago. Imagine what a wonderful world we can make by doing random acts of kindness all time and not waiting for a tragedy to happen before we act.

Everything that is happening is just histroty repeating itself. We are starting to hear more about these stories now but its the same craziness just different time period.

But I do believe that there are just as many good as there is bad out there. Usually the good things don't always get told.
