Is it ok to do Drill Max if I am not to good with steps

Hi!
I am new to Cathe's workout dvds and I would like to get a great calorie burning cardio dvd and I am thinking of getting Drill Max, but I was wondering if it will be ok for someone that is not so great with Steps aerobics, specially someone that has never done Cathe's workout. Are the routines/steps too complicated?? FYI I am an advanced exerciser, just never really go for steps aerobics because I believe I have two left feet. Thanks!:)

Hi, AfroditaNY, and welcome to the forum that will always help you Do The Patriotic and spend money!

You're in luck - and have excellent taste, I might add - in contemplating Drill Max. Although three of Drill Max's cardio segments incorporate the step, the movements in two of the three segments only involve jumping on and off the step, one in a forward/side-down/side-up/back formation and the other in a side-up-side-down formation. There is only one bonafide step segment, and my lady, if I can master it anyone can. Very, VERY simple choreography, but high-octane cardiovascular challenge.

Drill Max's cardio remains one of my must-do-at-least-once-every-two-weeks deals. Great value for your money, not just for the cardio but for the premixes and the resistance cycles.

Thanks Aquajock for your prompt response. Now I have another question...so I made up my mind so far and I am planning to get butts and guts for legs and abs, and drill max for a great cardio workout, now I need one good upper body workout (can definitely be advanced), and honestly I don't want to spend much money at this time, which one would you recommend? Thanks!:)

If not Pyramid Upper Body, you might look at Muscle Max, which is overall body strength. The arm segments and abs are very good.

Have a great day!

I agree with Dawn, with a slight greater nod toward Muscle Max. The day's gonna come when you'll want one total-body routine, and you just can't get much better than Muscle Max. The upper body is great, but the lower body and the core routines are awesome as well; IMHO you'd get a better bang for your buck with this one if you're limited to only a couple DVDs at this time.
