Is it just me?? Bootcamp premix is TOUGH!!

I don't know if something is wrong w/ me or if this premix is just a kicker, but I did the 35 min cardio plus lower body premix without pausing and gosh- I was gasping by the end!! I often do the whole thing but maybe I sort of catch my breath during the Upper body and core sections??
Anyone else done this one? Does it seem harder than regular bootcamp? Or am I just tired today?
 
Amy...it's not just you!! I've done Bootcamp a LOT, not to mention the Gauntlet quite a few, but I hear ya!! I've only done that premix maybe 2 or 3 times because it's SO TOUGH! lol...I don't get it either...but it leaves me gasping as well...it's an intense little cardio!!
 
This is one of my all time favorite premixes; it's definitely a tough one. On days where you have extra energy (and extra time), try combining it with CTX Power Circuit (minus the hi/low portion). That way, you get an awesome hour long lower body/cardio circuit.
 
Well that sounds a little out of my league! :) However, yesterday, I did Imax2 after a 40 minute run, so maybe I'll get there!
You are keeping the bar set high, you know!
 
Be careful, Amy. That combination, a 40 minute run and then a full interval workout, can be punishing on the joints and knee tissues AND a sure-fire recipe for an overuse injury. Stay healthy :)
 
Thanks so much for bringing this up. All week I have to be to work at
6:00am. I didnt think I could fit in a good workout. After reading your post I set up Boot Camp premix upper body. This morning at 4:00am, I am doing it. It felt great afterwards. I cant believe how much better I felt than not doing anything, tomorrow will be another quick premix. Thanks :)
