Is anyone watching Rock Star Supernova

I missed last year INXS and I heard it was pretty good so I am watching it and I really like it. In high school Guns N Roses was my favorite band I liked Metallica and Motley Crue. It is strange to see them with short hair they look so much better. Anyhow what are you thinking? I am looking at who will front the band and I see Dilana & Lucas and I LOVE TOBY!!!!!! Magni could pull it off. It is such a great group. Storm is a cutie and so is the young gal. I just can not see them fronting these guys. Zayata (Sp) After her comments and singing the same song again she should have been the one to have went home. Jill (the Blonde) did not take her critiscism well she would never make it with them either. Anyone else have thoughts just to toss around. Anyone voting? I will not until they sing a song of their own then we'll see. I do not have a voice to save my soul and movies and music are my passion (never thought about acting until after I had kids too late now).

Hi Beth,

I just watched for the first time Tuesday. (this is week 2, right?) I was surprised at how bad a lot of them are. I think Toby will probably make it. They seem really impressed by his performance and his attitude.

I think the four that were standing were definitely the worst but Jill did better with her song yesterday. (It looked like Zayata was not happy that Jill choose that Evanescence song that she did last week - i saw it on youtube. Jill did it much better anyway.) I think Zayata was awful both times and I can't stand the way she sang that song on either day.

I think Storm is cute and pretty good although Patrice is my favorite. I'm biased, though. She's from Austin, TX (my hometown) and she used to be in a band that I LOVED called Sister 7. She's pretty well-known here. I only voted for her 3 times online. Anyway, I have a hard time imagining a female singer for Supernova. I'd be surprised if a girl won. (Btw- Tommy Lee looks really old and tired!:eek: )
 
Yes I agree Tommy does look aged. I forgot about Patrice she is good too. So neat she is from your area. Good Luck to her.

My sister was telling me you can watch what is going on in the house on a website I personally am not interested in that they can re-cap the important stuff on t.v like they have been doing.

I would like to see an episode where they all have to individually go and work together with the band see how they jell. Like if they have to perform their own song supernova in the background playing the instruments. Just a thought.

I love this show! I watched last year and JD really was the best fit for INXS. I think Toby is good, but may be too "pretty" for Supernova. I guess my prediction is that Lukas and Dilana will be the final 2 and Dilana will get the gig. She seems to fit with them the best. Lukas is a little more punk than rock.
 
Tommy Lee looks like Kramer...but a bit worse. I always thought Jason Newsted was a goober. Still the show is kinda fun to watch once in a while.

I can't remember anybody's name so maybe someone can help me out. I really like the guy from Australia. I really enjoy his performances. The girl who sang the Johnny Cash song is a little scary and intense, but she would probably be great for singing the type of music Supernova likes.

My favorite is the girl who sang first in the first week. I thought she did well this week too. Overall, I found this week kind of boring compared to the first week. It was only the last few performances that woke me up.

Sorry about not knowing anyone's names. It's only when they get down to the last few and I've seen them over and over again that I remember their names.

Dilana sang Johnny Cash--she was much better last week I thought. Toby is the cute guy from Australia and Storm is the girl that sang first last week.
Jeez, that sounds like I's obsessed or something. I do have a life--really, I do!

No you are not obsessed I have a great memory when it comes to names and numbers so you probably do to.

I watched it for the first time on tues. and was hooked. I usually don't like reality shows but I do "dig" rock music. and I also was a big guns and roses fan! I think unless he does something REALLY wrong Toby will win. He has a great voice and a stage presence, I also don't see them with a woman as a lead singer. I really liked the girl who sang the Johnny Cash song. Her looks were scarry!! but her voice rocked! If they go with a woman I would pick her, but again I somehow think they will go with a guy. And no I did not vote on the computer.
