Cathlete
muscle definition look.I saw a led singer in a band this past weekend and loved her lean, muscular defination body. I want her body. I am new to cathe, and have just started with the Tank top rotation. Another ? on that rotation, how long should the Cardio workouts should be. To get lean i think i would have to incorportate more cardio. Also Where is the best site i can go for help with nutrition and geting the lean look? thank you for your great advice....You guys are really knowledgeable in helping people like myself.....

I think it REALLY depends alot on your body type as to what type of look you can acheive. I have a body similar to Cathe's(I'm 5'2 116lbs), so after working out with her for 1.5 years I do have a lean muscular type body. I do cardio(running, kickboxing, step with intervals) four times for 45-60 minutes and either 2 days of weight training or 3 days of power yoga each week.

Good luck!

Hi!

I have feminine lean muscle definition. I work with heavy weights and do interval training. One day a week, I do ballet, yoga, light aerobic, or rest! I am (5'2",106 lb). To show your muscle definition, the fat layer has to decrease. I don't eat sugar, or white flour very often, and count my calorie intake every day.
There are many sites in the computer, but I haven't found any of them totally correct!!! And they seem too restricting to me. So I gain information from many sources.
Find a sensible plan that you can stick to for a life time!
Also please know that decreasing the body fat in ladies to the extreme causes hormonal problems, loss of menses, infertility and cellular changes in the uterine.
So be careful of who your role model is. You want a healthy happy life style to last!!
Take care!
:)

Being lean and muscular to begin with is key, I think. What type of body do you have? I have long arms and legs which are slim. I am 5'6" and weigh at around 130 which is a little heaveir than I like but I have been less active lately due to an injury and food is so darned comforting when you have a boo boo and feel sorry for yourself! Anyway, I know I will never be lean and muscular like Cathe and have to settle for slim and toned because I have a hard time gaining muscle and I store my body fat very specifically in the ab area. I am still very fit, strong as a horse and pretty lean too although I am sometimes hard on myself and feel fatter than I am. I just ignore me and try to focus on what's important like having energy and loving life! So evaluate yourseslf and think about what you can reasonably expect from your body and love yourself for who you are! Good luck!
