Is a dream a lie, if it don't come true....

Okay, I'm a closet Springsteen fan...I don't have many of his albums (just the earlier classics), but I can appreciate his appeal and his talent.

Anyway, here's a video from the early 80's of him singing with a street musician in Copenhagen, and it just kinda wowed me, so, I thought I'd share. I like his younger voice, and "The River" really is such a great sad song.

So, enjoy (or not!).

That just about made me cry. Used to be a huge Springsteen fan (believe it or not). I saw him at Wembley Stadium in 1985. He's absolutely brilliant live.

Thanks for sharing:)

Thanks Teresa! That was the perfect start to my Sunday morning, a good cup of coffee and a gem of a song from the Boss. I haven't added to my Bruce Collection since 'Born in the USA' and saw him in a smaller venue on that tour, he just about wore me out, what a performer. He has such an 'everyman' sexiness about him, love the way his body moves to the music. Thanks for sharing!

We just got the Juno Soundtrack and I am blown away by Sonic Youth's version of The Carpenter's song "Superstar". Brilliant!

Take Care
Laurie:)
