iphone, ipod users need help

Hi everyone,

I have a question, DH just got an iphone tonight so now we have 2 iphones, and two ipods. How do we keep the accounts seperate? I registered his phone and it synced all of my contacts and apps on to his phone. Now when I charge my phone I will have all his stuff which I do not want. Is there a way to avoid this?

Did you give each phone a separate name? My DH and I both have iPhones, a shuffle, an iPod classic and a nano! Each one has a different name with different settings so we can synch them individually and keep the info separate without a problem.

Yes when I registered his phone I named it Phil's Phone. Could it have anything to do with the fact that the att contract is under my name?

Now I just hooked up my phone and it gave me all of his contacts. UGH!!!

Jenn - I had to check with my DH! You'll need to go into the Contacts tab in iTunes and create two separate contact groups, one for your contacts and one for your husband's. When you synch, you'll need to be sure you select your group of contacts for your phone and he selects his group of contacts for his.
