Intensity....Whoa!!!

Ok, Intensity is now my #1 go to cardio dvd! Just curious if anyone else thinks it's a major toughie? The step section that then goes into high intensity HIIT is just so intense, yes? I'm sort of getting my feet wet with long cardio sessions; I've always leaned more towards lifting. Anyway, what a fun workout this is! What other of Cathe cardios have this level of difficulty? I have Imax2 but I don't think it is as difficult as Intensity. I have the HIIT dvd's from Shock Cardio and Cardio Core Circuit as well as some others but I'm just curious as to know what all of you cardio junkies like to workout to get your juices flowing?:D
 
Intensity is great

I hear Imax 3 is the hardest of the Imax's, but I don't have it, so I can't testify to it. I agree, though, that Intensity is awesome. It takes you to a point where you almost can't go anymore, but you can and you do.
 
I think that Intensity might qualify as her toughest workout yet. It completely whooped my butt and I'm really strong in my lower body, I can do plyos no problem its just that speed and the sheer volume of them.
 
I think this is her toughest too. I have Imax3 and don't think it's too bad. You get those rests during the step portions. What I love about intensity is that just when you think you just can't do anymore she changes things up and you are able to go on. This is definitely my new favorite workout!

A real favorite

This has become a Cathe favorite 'cause it's tough, but easy to follow! Puts me in mind of Drill Max & HIIT, which are also favorites for the same reason.
 
I have both. IM3 is hard and has a very strong fun factor for me. But, intensity handed me my butt on a platter today. YIKES. It killed my quads. Loved it! Athelic Step is hard but only 47 min.
 
Oldie but Goodie!

If you really want a cardio challenge, try Max. Intensity Cardio. I find it harder to do than Intensity. I think it's about 70 minutes and the cardio never stops! I felt so accomplished the first time I was able to complete the entire workout.

I am so glad to hear that someone else finds MIC challenging! The very first time I did it, I literally thought I was going to die. My DH actually asked me if I was alright or if I wanted to go to the hospital!!

I look forward to doing Intensity because even though it is super challenging, it is also super fun and I know I can make it to the end!

I have MIC coming up next week in my rotation and I am fearing doing that one since DH won't be home to make sure I survive! :eek:
 
I love Intensity - I can't stop doing this workout. I mostly do the step only section for a tough adrenaline rush tacked on after a weight workout. I love the music too!
 
Body Max 2 Scrambled Eggs premix is killer. Drillmax double cardio is tough too. Load of the premixes are just as hard! MIC is a toughie too I agree!!
 
I agree, Intensity is fun & tough. Just when you get to that breaking point it's on to the next thing. I haven't tried Body max scrambled eggs but sounds good. I love drill max. Try one of the HiiTs followed by DM cardio timesaver. Super fun!
