What is the recommended way to use the intensity series? Should I just go from one video to the next each day?

Thanks Kindly,

Hi Ninarom and welcome to the forums,

I don't know how to create a link to Cathe's Intensity Series rotation so I just Cut and pasted it. So here it is word for word from Cathe......

We think you are really going to love the new Intensity Series. It can be used as a "shock your system" rotation in its entirety or you may insert any of the workouts to accomodate your current fitness rotations/workouts. There are no rules to these workouts, simply use them as another way to shake up your workouts. As all of us already know, the body needs recovery time as well as light and hard day workouts. With that in mind, this series expresses different levels of intensity.

Also, we should always listen to our bodies on a daily basis so feel free to alter the workouts as you see fit by modifying to lighter weights on days your body needs it or even increasing your weights on days your body is feeling strong.

So as you see, there are endless ways to keep your fitness workouts refreshing and inspiring.....ENJOY!!!!

PS....For starters, I will share a couple of ways to enjoy the Intensity series. How long you stay on any of these rotations is totally based on how your body is responding. If it feels good continue, if you feel pretty tired and sore, modify the intensity within each workout to fit your needs, if you feel flat out exhausted and ultra sore, alternate it with some less intense workouts.

The intensity series is the best series of exercise dvd I have ever met. IMAX 2 is an interval training (10 intervals)with a fantastic music. In the dvd of this series you are going to find lot of premixes. For example in IMAX 2 you have 1 premix with the intervals 1-5 and other with the intervals 6-10. In the same dvd you have cardio and weights. It is less intense than the other workouts in the series but the cardio step premix is fun to do before a weight workout. ME is an endurance weight workout.I use the upper body premix of ME often. Bootcamp is a five stars with one minute of cardio without step, 1 minute of upper body, 1 minute of lower body and 1 minute of abs. Cathe is very motivating in this workout and you have lot of premixes( cardio only, all except abs, cardio and upper body, cardio and lower body etc) . The pyramids are strenght workouts.I love specially the exercises in the stabily ball in pyramids lower body.

Thanks Mariangeles,

I've ordered the Video as I don't have a DVD player on my TV. I'm really looking forward to getting it and getting started.

Wendy,

This is extremely useful information. Could you tell me where you got it - are there more rotations that I can look at.

Thanks so much for posting this.:)

Hi Karen Kay,

At the top of the page where each forum is listed it says "search". Then go to "advanced search" and type in "intensity series rotation" and do a subject only search. Then once you are here, scroll down to "Video and DVD rotations" and it is in here. I hope that helps.
I use this also to search for past posts on several topics.

Much quicker yet, waterbabie posted links to all of Cathe's rotations on one post, which is still on the first page of the "Video and DVD Rotations" page. It is titled "Index for Cathe's Rotations". I sure wish they could sticky this to the top of that page because she went to a lot of work to do this and it is SO helpful.

Good luck and hope this helps, Wendy
