Just have to gush on this one!! As an endorphin junkie, I thought nothing could compare To my beloved insanity. I was wrong!! I love this one and have done it in various ways since I got it ( thanks aquajock for a kickbutt mishmosh too). I can definately see this one being a first pick for a long time.
 
I agree with you, Wendy. I did Intensity twice the first week it came out. It'll get frequent airplay on my tv!!

I agree 100% - got to be my favorite Cathe workout so far after 12+ years of buying her tapes/dvd's! Very easy to follow, & a real a$$ kicker!
 
Boohoo!! This is the only one I did not order!. Bur after reading this thread and doing Lower Body Blast yesterday I think I'm going to have to put it on my Christmas list!!

Cathe is a genius! No question about it!!!
 
Ok, people, talk to me. I want details. I didn't get it because I have to really watch the type of impact I do now, and too much high impact causes problems.

What's the low impact stuff like? Is there a way to do this workout without super-high plyo stuff?

Don't limit yourself to answering these questions - I'd just like a bit more info from people who have actually done it. Thanks!
 
Me too!! It's like a whole new experience in cardio. I have only been using 'Intensity" since it came out. I actually put on Body Max 2 but quickly changed it to Intensity. for me it's the pace, the music for sure!! and of course the fun factor. You don't even think about the clock because it is so much fun. Cathe is the best!!
 
With out going into detail, I think you could keep this entire work out low impact (pretty easily modifiable I think) and still get a good work out. The low impact section itself is about 15 mins of grounded HiiT. Cathe's toes never leave the floor. :)

ETA:: Just thinkin' that if you ground the moves and maybe add a second set of risers to the step portion that you'll really be able to kick it up w/o the stress on the joints from the impact!

Me too! I love all the premix options, on this and all the new dvd's and just keep reaching for this one :)
 
I just did this today - premix with the high Hiit - I agree with everyone's posts about being fun, the time flying and feeling energized! And that's saying alot for a Friday after work - hardly my energized time! I am so pleased with these workouts! I do have to wonder though - why is it only a "7" for met value on workout manager? It should be at least an 8 with all the blasts and Hiit!
 
Oh YES, a sequel!! AWESOME!! And throw in a Low Impact Step/HIIT INTENSITY DVD too, cause I KNOW you can make it INTENSE!! :eek:;) If anybody can — Cathe can!!:D:D:D
