Anybody own one of these? I'm thinking about after seeing the infomercial and am wondering if it really works like it says? It looks to good to be true!

Do they still have the "get the second one free" sale? I'd be interested in going in on the purchase of a set & splitting it with you...

Send me a PM if you're interested......I've wanted to try this for sometime....

I'm up all hours of the night with my newborn twins......and all I get are informercials!!! I've purchased Insanity, Bendables, Contour Abs..... you get the picture!!! :p

I did not like it at all, I bought it on ebay so I could just buy 1 and pay half as much, getting 2 of them never made sense to me. It seemed like it would be damaging to my hair if I used it too often, the smell it created concerned me, I was not sure if it's just the smell of the iron, or if it was burning my hair!

And it just didn't seem to do much, it did not really straighten or curl. I would vote for saving your money. Maybe someone else had better luck with it or some tips on how to get it to work like they show on TV.

Thanks for the review, I think I'm going to wait on something else to come along! It looked to good to be true but one can always hope:) And with the price I wanted to be absolutely sure.

Twins, Wow! I bet you've got your hands full:)

My coworkers did the buy 1 get 1 free. They used it once and that was the end of that. They said it wasn't any better than a regular old curling iron/straightener and they also mentioned something about a funky smell coming from it.

If you're still interested in trying it, I know Bed Bath & Beyond sells them. They might have a return policy so you could try it out and see for yourself, and return it if it stinks: but I'm not 100% on that. Also, this would allow you to skip out on the processing fees & shipping charges!

Hi Andylinn!
I have the Instyler and it works great on my hair!! I have very fine hair and it gives it more body than I ever could have dreamed of! Plus, it leaves it silky smooth. The only thing I have a problem doing with it is creating curls. It definitely doesn't make my hair as curly as the infomercial suggests. It's more like just wavy. It could be because my hair is so fine though and doesn't take well to curls. It doesn't smell at all either, maybe the above poster has a defective one? I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars!! (Minus 1/2 star because it doesn't curl like they suggest). But I am sooooo pleased with the body and shine!

Hope this helps!

I have one, just bought it Saturday, and don't really like it. It works; just doesn't leave my hair as smooth as my Chi flat iron. I bought mine at Ulta and the sales girl said it really depends on the hair. It works for some and not for others. I want to sell mine for $50 if anyone is interested.

Do you still have yours Dela?

Yup, I still have it, all packed away in storage with the rest of my belongings! Looks like someone below would sell hers.

I like the idea of buying it in the store so you can return it, they are VERY good with returns, I got a gift from there, and did not have the receipt, and they gave me store credit no problem.

I think if you want to return it, you have to call the customer service # listed on the box and do it directly through the company. Ulta wouldn't take it back. Not sure about other stores.

Hmmmm now I'm trying to remember if we still have a Bed Bath and Beyond in Evansville...........might give it a try if I can return it if I'm not happy with it!

I had a friend who tried one and her hair started falling out :(
