Did anyone followed the insanity 60 day challenge, if so did you make any adjustments and what results did you get? I must say I did the insane abs and was fairly disapointmented feel no doms. Thanks!

I did the 60 day rotation and lost weight and bf and my ab definition definitely increased. Not getting DOMS from something can be disappointing but that doesn't mean it's not effective so just keep that in mind! Insanity is an awesome program! I added in a bit of weight lifting and one day of running to month 1. In month 2 I continued to add a little weight lifting but I did not do any running.

I am doing another round-about to start month 2 next week and this time I am using it in more of a traditional way by alternating the Insanity work outs with the X weight work outs. Right now I am in a recovery week from the X and just got Shock Cardio so I am playing around with those work outs. Next week I will resume with month 2 of Insanity and the X. I am really enjoying it.

I thought Insanity was awesome. I did the 60 day rotation they suggest. My cardio capacity improved greatly (and I thought it was pretty good before I did this series), my legs got stronger and my upper body (mostly tris and shoulders) got stronger and more defined.

These are my favorite workouts of all time. I really like the drill style of working out and the way he does it without the traditional rests. I thought they were well put together to keep you challenged from a cardio and a strength perspecitve (although they are mostly cardio workouts).

For me, the straight ab workouts and the recovery workouts in this series were unremarkable. I wouldn't judge this series based on Insane abs. Do the meat of the program, the cardio workouts.

I did the 60 day rotation as written, didn't add anything, no weights...I think maybe during the recovery week I did a run but not sure...anyway I definately lost body fat and weight and saw so much improvements...best purchase ever, can't wait to do another rotation!!!

I totally agree you can't judge these workouts based on the Cardio Abs or the Insane Abs....they are good, but not great....the other workouts are AWESOME! They are my favorite Cardio workouts ever! They so good their scarry!
Good Luck

I think this bears repeating.

DOMS is NOT a goal to strive for, IMO, as so many things affect it.

It can mean that your muscles haven't recovered yet, while lack of it could mean that you recovered quickly, and can mean that you can workout that same muscle group sooner than if it takes longer to recover.

Sufficient recovery (both within and after the workout) can reduce or prevent DOMS.

DOMS is more apt to occur if you increase the intensity of your workout (more weight, different exercises, anything new).

Some muscles are also less apt to get DOMS, like high-endurance muscles like calves and abs.

Supportive nutrition can reduce the occurance of DOMS.

Forgive me if I seem ignorant. Do I just follow the workouts the way they are in the calendar that comes with the package? Since I order the deluxe set how do I incorporate the other workouts and did you guys follow the nutrition guide? Thanks girls for all your help!!!
