INSANE PARTY Wed Oct 7th

Hey Ya'll.,
Today was CA and MCC. Whew! Not pretty, but done. I would have liked to have gone out on a stronger note, but it was what it was. :p

I'm going to try and get to bed early tonight and make sure I get more sleep before my final fit test. My last few nights have been slightly sleep deprived and it shows.

Eunice, Yeah another graduate!!! Glad to hear you saw good results. I think it's impossible to not see result with this program. So the DH must be really really close to coming home, are you ready?? I bet the kids are excited too?

Regina,
You know you are Insane when you find the final round of each circuit is your most powerful

You are beyond Insane when you keep going after Shaun stops his shoulder burners just because he clock still has 8 seconds left.

You are having Insanity withdrawal when, (I'll have to get back to you since I'll be finishing tomorrow and haven't gone into withdrawal yet. :p)

Brenda, It sounds like you're pretty much doing what I was thinking of doing once I take a recovery week. How was going back to weight work after Insanity? I'm a bit nervous, since I did only a little bit of weight work during M1 and nothing during M2.

hello All,

Dawn- Finishing Tomorrow!!!!! You will among the elite group of officially INSANE! Congrats on your accomplishment! Let us know how your fit test goes.

Eunice - Good to hear that your Elliptical run improved. How many Cathe fans are now Insanity graduates? I am also glad that you had good results with your Insanity rotation!

This morning I did Pure Cardio. Tomorrow I plan to do P90x chest, shoulders triceps in am and MIP or a step workout in the pm. I will see how it goes .

Dawn: Almost there..... what a great feeling it will be to get that final workout in. As far as going back to weight work, it was a piece of cake. I was surprised that I was able to maintain the strength gains I made during my first round of STS while doing the official Insanity rotation. I re-did all my 1RM and I hadn't lost anything during my time off weights. I think it was all those pushups and bronco jumpy things and the floor kicks that kept my arms strong. I started my second round of STS with all the weights 5% heavier on the upper body and about 8% heavier in the lower body. I love what all that plyometric work did to my legs!! I did take a recovery week of power yoga alternating with more steady state cardio and then did 4 day split for a week before starting up STS again.

I can't wait to see the final fit test results for all the Insanity graduates. This program is awesome and I think it was the perfect lead in to Cathe's STS cardio.
