Has anyone seen the infomercial for Shapely Secrets? I was watching it today and it basically talks about "motionless exercise" and how you work muscle against muscle instead of muscle against weight. They have all the studies done by doctors and universitiesand ALL the testimonials from paid actors ....blah blah. Supposedly you can lose 1 size in 14 days by doing whatever this is for 7 minutes per day, along with clean eating I'm sure. Now, don't get wrong. I love Cathe and will continue to do her workouts no matter what. I just can't see giving up the cardiovascular benefits and definition you can get from the weights. I would, however, be interested to know if anyone has seen this or even tried it. It's $40. Okay....NOW you all can start laughing.

I saw that infomercial, too. Looks like you just stand there and loose a size. I'm sure how that works. I guess if you're not standing in front of the fridge????

Oh Gosh, it reminds me of that Oxycize stuff.

On one Roadtrip, we all brought videos of the stupidest workouts ever made.

Oxycize was the funniest video I've ever seen.

This nutty woman would take a deep breath, then hang her tongue out and make this really hideous face.

The other hilarious one was the lady in high heels undulating to Latino music.

Seriously, I don't trust those informercials.

I am not opposed to Bowflex machines, but when they say you can get a ripped 6 pack with only 20 minutes of exericise three times per week, I say to myself, "How on earth is that possible"?

I would stay with a good, solid workout program like Cathe's.

This is just my .02 and I am not speaking for anyone except for myself.

I think Shapely Secrets is the updated version of Oxycize, with G...Childress promoting it (she's the bleach blond who uses LOTS of petroleum jelly on the lens of the camera that's filming her. Once when I saw her on one of her infomercials, I thought my eyesight was going, because everything looked blurry!

It's just isotonic exercise (push your hands together in front of your chest without moving, as an example) with the Oxycise breath added to it.
