inner & outter thighs....

Hi. I'm pretty new to Cathe, but I really like her style & find I can't wait to get home & do my work outs now.

Which DVD/video is best for reducing & toning inner & outer thighs? Is general cardio the best way or is it better to concentrate on specific leg dvds/videos? I have ME/LL/C&W/PUB&PLB/basic step & body fusion/circuit max. (hope I got all the abbreviations right)

I'm worried that I'll start to build instead of tone & reduce by using the wrong ones too often.

I believe endurance work outs tone while strength builds....ME and LL are definately endurance work outs...I would go that route with some cardio thrown in....JMHO. I'm no expert either but this is what I would think would help you....:)

I just finished a S&H rotation and did legs 2 times in one week. I also did the floorwork from PLB after the legs portion of S&H. Both my inner and outer thighs look so much better. I also do my squats with my legs close together which gets more of the outer thigh sweep.
 
Thanks. I haven't done PLB at all yet. When you refer to the 'floor work' do you mean that there is floor work as well as standing work on the PLB dvd ? I was going to try the 'premix' of the PLB one tonight, but I haven't had a chance to view it yet. I don't have S&H. I think I will try doing LL & PLB premix once a week for a few weeks and see what happens.

Does that sound right?

Yes! after the standing legwork in PLB there is floorwork with a stability ball. You do not have to have a stability ball to do the floor work. That sounds good. You might want to work your legs twice a week if you can. I know that is what helped me a lot.
 
One thing you can do to target these areas is change the positioning of your feet during squats. If you point your toes outwards you can target the inner thigh, inwards you'd target the outer thigh.
 
My favorite dvd for inner & outer thighs is legs & glutes. The new gym style legs has some good inner & outer thigh resistance band work too.
