Hi Debbie
Yet again I am seeking your advise. I have recently had an op on my left knee. Removal of cartilage and knee work. Anyway I have been unable to do any exercise, as a result. I was thinking of doing some upper body work, such as assisted chins, as well as working upper body generally. Basically do you think its worth just working upper body if lower body work and cardio is out of the question at the moment?
I've checked with my doctor and theres no issues with upper body work affecting my injury. Its just do you think is worth continueing to work tri's, bi's etc if the lower portion receives no workout and no cardio.
I am trying to be clean with my diet. But its difficult sticking to the 5 meals a day recommended with the BFFM (Burn the Fat feed the Muscle) Method. Sometimes I'm just tempted to go back down the road of say Weight watchers until my knee is recovered, just to keep my fat level down. Then return to BFFM once I'm exercising properly again.
Any advise would be gratefully received. Also do you think its worth continuing with maintaining my protein levels using whey or BSN Lean Desserts. I love these but now I'm not working out they seem a bit pointless.
Finally could you email me a copy of your rotation your using on the Hardcore Fitness Thread. Please send to [email protected]
Thanks alot
Laura
