:D I did "Step Blast" for the second time tonight and I must say my intensity level was definitely higher than the first. I am totally covered with sweat! Since I am more familiar with the video I am able to focus more on the intensity. The intensity was as intense as "Rhythmic Step". I believe intensity is what you put into a workout, not so much the workout itself! So, I am contradicing my earlier post in the intensity review post. I should have waited until I had done the series twice through. Tomorrow I will be doing "Kick Punch and Crunch" for a second time and I am sure it will be as intense as "Cardio Kicks" because I am going to give it my all!

I agree that often the intensity of a workout depends on what you put into it. I've done some 'intermediate-level" workouts at both intermediate and advanced intensity, depending on what I put into it.

What do you mean by Rhythmic Step being "intense"?

I don't enjoy dancey/floor moves so I find Rhythmic Step unfun and not intense--I'd rather be moving athletically all over the step. So I don't do RS. Is Step Blast a lot of dancey/floor moves? Please tell me it's more athletic moves!!!

Hi rcbinmichigan! There is definitely a combination of both dancy and athletic moves throughout the entire workout. Each of the three combos (or six combo's depending on how you look at it, since these are long 64 count combo's, and not the standard 32 count combos) has a couple of dance moves as well as more jump oriented moves. The blast challenge at the end may seem a bit more athletic since there are three minute long blasts spaced in there that are more like IMAX intervals. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for responding, Cathe!

The jumping sounds good--I'll just do athletic moves while you're doing the low-intensity dance moves!
